Is Schaumburg a good place for a touring ASP? Im scared of the big City for my first time back for a long time so I posted on another board and nearly got cursed out for not knowing. Any Info advice I will appreciate and use! Thank you kindly

Schaumburg, O'Hare and Oak Brook all good.

There are a lot of nice people in Schaumburg.  I really like this city.  I will keep coming back as long as the gentlemen continue to welcome me.  I like it here so much more than downtown Chicago.  Have fun and good luck.

since I'll occasionally drive in from the western part of the state to hobby.  I'll go downtown if absolutely necessary but it's much less preferable.  For me, Rockford is perfect but Schaumburg works just fine.

I am so happy someone posted about this I was wondering the same thing myself since i'll be touring in those areas soon.

I usually stay there when I visit and haven't ever had any problems and always stayed busy. Good luck!

Schaumburg, Lombard, Oakbrook are nice areas.  Safer than the city.
