Couple questions I thought I'd throw out there:

1) I've noticed a lot of posts from providers where they only have a phone number listed, no email.

Why would that be?  I would think it would be much easier for most people to email, at least to make initial contact, check availability, etc.  

Why do some providers not set one up?  They are free and anonymous, unlike phone numbers.



2)  Why the 2 call system?  I could understand it if, you don't want to give an exact location away before you can see the guy, i.e. the provider can see the guy out their window and see that looks like trouble, or whatever, and decide to bail w/o giving away their address, but when the 2nd call is being made to an assistant or someone who has isn't checking you out or whatever, what is the point?  Why make the person sit in their car down the block before you give an actual address?  I don't get it.


3) It seems the reviews are filled with providers hiding behind the door when they open it.  Why is that?

These are probably odd, but if just been wondering about them and figured I'd post.

Maybe the provider doesn't own a computer??? Reason for no e-mailing...the 2 call system I think is interesting..I know for myself the reason You may Not know my room number is because I may have checked in just prior to your arrival...so You know the address..but Not the room number...and as far as hiding behind the door..it's because if someone else should walk by...I do Not want to expose myself with what I am wearing...I am wearing it for You...You come in I close the door and lock it...and let the Fun begin

2 call is usually to get the room number not the address. Nothing is worse than door knocking with no answer I'df the provider is running late and isn't comfortable letting you on just yet.

Also, I've been dismayed when gents arrive 20 minutes early. Sometimes I'm just getting there and there is a chance they can see my car/liscene plate. I'm NOT comfortable with that.

As far as hiding behind the door, top providers are usually in lingerie. Why would we fling the door open to expose ourselves (or you for that matter lol) to just anyone passing by.

to speak with someone than email.  Also, most people verify by phone and not email so I will need a phone number to verify anyway.

Two calls so the client does not just show up whenever they want ie.... 10 minutes early or late.  For scheduling purposes I need to know what is going on and also, the ladies don't particularly care to be surprised.  If told two oclock, they dont want you popping in at ten minutes til.  

As far as the door thing, I try to tell the lady to rig the door so the guy does not even have to knock so they can walk right in.  But answering the door in panties for all to see is not a good idea either.

and talking to you. Some have an uncanny ability to discern whether you're safe or not from your tone of voice, whether you ask the wrong questions, etc. Doesn't seem to be the best way to screen but a lot of new providers do it this way. Some don't have computers - instead, a friend posts their ads but he/she doesn't want to deal with their emails.
