Some may do so selectively...

They'll tell you after you've paid full freight a few times...or not.  I wouldn't expect that to be advertised.

Some of it is due to the fact that a select few providers and hobbyists think they are superior, have all the answers, and their way is the only way.  And the rest of us don't tolerate their high and mighty, condescending BS.
