I'm not surprised by this news, her X-husband Bobby Brown is the big reason she is died today.

Her voice died about 10 years ago when she turned to crack, it never sounded like the the WH I grew up with.

I actually had one of her old CD's playing while on my way to see someone . Afterwards went
with another friend to dinner and while we were leaving we saw on the tv the news announcing
her death. She was too young to leave us and I will miss her .

As she hit those high notes and held them for what seemed to be forever.  Very sad tthat she kicked her drug habit and was making a comeback.

How sad to lose such a talented lady.
