I am using an alias because I don't know whether or not this would start a flame war. I have made a dozen reviews.

Three days in advance, I contacted an out of town provider because I'd be traveling. I sent references she agreed to my proposed time and asked that I send the hotel address which I did the morning before our appt. no response but no big deal, as I did not ask for one. The next day, the day of our appt. I sent a text ten hours before our appt. asking for a confirmation. I did not get a response. Four hours later, I sent an email asking for confirmation and three hours later, no response. Now it's  three hours away from our appointment time and no word.

What would you do?

Thanks.

Move on.  This city has dozens of wonderful ladies that actually CARE about you and your appointment together! Would you even want to be with her after this BS? PM me if you need some referrals for great providers here.

I'd try to call her.  If she doesn't answer, I'd forget it, and book someone else.

I keep in close contact with my clients until they walk through my door, or until I walk through theirs.  They don't confirm me, I confirm them.

I hope that she actually follows through for you, though.

Three hours before your appointment and she's not confirming your appointment? Find another Girl. No use waiting just for this Girl to respond to you or not. Plenty of Girls out there that can see you you on a moment's notice. It's not like they're all Busy with Clients at the same time.

There are two possibilities. She might be too busy to respond to your messages (some providers complain about too much unnecessary communications before the meetings) but she will show up at the right time. The other possibility is that for some reason she decided to cancel and she is not courteous enough to tell you. You will soon find out.

Honestly, there's no excuse for that kind of flakiness, unless she was hospitalized...and then I would still have responded!
There are many lovely ladies who will be there for you.
Play safe!

quite right. Sorry but start looking for someone who is more professional and cares about your time as well as her own.  Like so many others have said. There are so many wonderful providers to choose from.  I'm not sure why she is being flaky but you should look elsewhere.

Good luck with your search! Carly  :)

You should assume the appointment is off and book someone else before it gets too late.  I know it sounds harsh but without a confirmation I do the same thing...

Gosh, you sure your not in CA? As this seems like your talking about a great deal of how the CA men are!

What should you do?  Well, it's down right rude/disrespectful of her...she agreed to seeing you at a certain time. But she simply lacked respect in *communicating* with you. Whether to confirm/or cancel and there's NO excuse nor tolerance for that BS behavior.
As in this day and age. Everyone in this biz has a phone..and emails/and web access on their phones.....so there's NO excuse for her NOT to PM/email/txt or call you.
And I would call her out on it...and let her know you don't appreciate your time wasted! If she did it to you, shes done it to others.

Hobbyist and providers who do this sh*t...get away with it because their not called out on it.

I decided that I scheduling another provider on short notice would not be worth it (tried it when I had a NCNS) so if I did not hear from her by 90 minutes away from the appt. I would send her an email canceling and meet up with some friends for dinner. Two hours out, she called. apologized (phone problems) and we wound up having a very good time.
I get it, life happens but given the communication methods available these days, there is really no excuse for leaving someone in limbo. Next time, in a situation like this, I'll pull the plug with enough time to schedule someone else.

Thank you all for the responses.
