I disagree.... Providers should get tested regularly.. As I do.. There are thorough places that are free that give u the "Full Exams".. I'm OCD about my health & cleanliness & so should anyone in this line of business...

Well the fact is most people don't know they have it.
And if you done a BBJ. with a girl that has over 30 reviews the chances she has it.
4- 10 girls have it in the city.
cover up or pay the price I should say
I'm sure ladies won't mind if you show up looking like this.
funny HSV-1 or 2 spot on the penis

I' ve seen worse!!!
So if she doesn't have any reviews I'm safe???
umm no your not safe at all If your have BBJ
if your have hiv and have and out break during the BJ the sucke can get hiv .

In the general U.S. population17% of adults aged 14-49 years have HSV-2 antibodies. HSV-2 antibodies are not routinely detected until puberty, and then HSV-2 seroprevalence increases with age. HSV-2 seroprevalence is higher in women than men in all age groups and varies by race/ethnicity
We all place ourselves at risk. This is serious business.
No one is laughing at you, Tom, we appreciate your 411.
what can we do to protect ourselves.
1. of course we always use protection.
2. don't kiss anyone who has a cold sore, no matter what they say
3. same thing with kissing "down there"
Check out the area, and it you see anything amiss, don't dive!!
I will say that guys are more realistic about using protection in my professional life, as opposed to real life dating. When dating, after a few times together, they start to protest.
That does not work for me. Wrap it! Protect thyself!!
As I always say...PLAY SAFE!!

So true! Clients are more aware and considerate than the men I've met dating...just one more reason to appreciate my clients!
The information provided above is serious and should be taken as such, but if you every had a cold sore, you have a form of herpes. I am always careful and always ask for a cover.
I'm new to this and was really surprised when I saw how accepted BBBJ's and DATY were. Especially considering how taboo BBFS is on these forums, as it should be. BBBJ's may not pose the same likelihood of getting "the big one" but HSV is a serious risk and an inspection of the "goods" beforehand is simply not an effective precaution. In addition, Chlamydia is also commonly passed through these methods and there is really no way to know who has it from any kind of inspection.
I'm not trying to judge, lord knows I have succumbed to this as well and there are clearly risks you assume when you take up this hobby. It just seems like everyone is really aware of the dangers of BBFS, but a lot of people have decided BBBJ and DATY are an acceptable risk, even though they can do a considerable amount of damage.
with 3 whole reviews with "high class" hookers..i must conclude that you know JACKSHIT...

. . . he prayed and prayed, and finally God answered, "C'mon, meet me halfway and buy a ticket!"
If you hobby, get tested quarterly.
Don't do anything you're uncomfortable with. A great provider, now retired and very well known to many here, once told me about a client who wanted to be completely covered. She complied with his request. End of story.
The title has hvs-1 in the title (I assume you mean HSV-1) yet you then give stats on hsv-2
2 completely different strains of the virus.....
First off if you ever had a coldsore like the 50% of the population you're immune to getting hsv-1 at other sites....meaning If you ever had a coldsore the chances of getting hsv-1 from receiving a bbbj is zip, zilch, nadda. Next if you never had a cold sore and the provider is performing oral on you I would hope you would notice the huge sore on her lip beforehand seeing that the main time for transmission is during the shedding phase and during that time its fairly obvious.....if you notice that and still go along with the oral unprotected well then thats your own call.
as far as hsv2....its a genital strain so if you arent performing actual genital to genital contact the chances of transmission are very VERY small....in the very few infections of oral transmission the shedding period is far less infrequent then in hsv-1 meaning the reverse transmission from mouth to genitals is far less infrequent . asymptomatic shedding occurs in hsv2 but even still......very few people acquire oral hsv2 to begin with. genital to genital transmissions of hsv2 are classified as being 1-1000 chance so acquiring it orally is even far lower then that.
As far as your other post on h.i.v their has not been 1 single documented case of hiv transmission from oral...this includes people with herpes, oral lesions etc...... certain stds increase transmission through genital to genital contact like gonorrhea but orally it doesnt happen. Most respected std physicians have come up with the figure of 1 in 10000 chance of transmission which equates to having unprotected oral sex with a infected partner EVERY DAY for almost 30 YEARS and still not be infected.
stop scaring people...play safe, know risks
just a few corrections to my previous. When describing shedding of hsv2 of the mouth I kept saying infrequent....I meant to say far less frequent and that transmission is far less frequent.
Also when I have the 1 in 10,000 figure on oral hiv transmission thats the number from infected partner to person performing oral.....from a infected person performing to the person not infected receiving the latest chance quotes are 1 in 20,000 . so receiving a bj from a person with it you would have to receive every day for over 50 years and still not get it..... yes many sites say its "possible" since most people who are infected admit to having unprotected oral as well as intercourse which it makes it impossible to find the exact time of transmission however there has never been an actual case documented where oral was the only act provided. most reliable risk charts dont even put hiv in the possible category let alone the proven method.
Especially the bit about "stop scaring people." I would add that anyone with a little common sense could figure out the original poster is a bit paranoid, which is understandable. But how hard is it to do a little research these days and seek out a reputable and reliable source, especially on the web?
it appears that the well spoken "looking4fun2929" above, has tried to lay this mass hysteria to rest.
HSV is not the stuff that goes bump in the night, even if it feels like the end of the world, it's not.
STD's and STI's are subjects a lot of folks often remain ill-informed about, so this is a good thread topic.
We are talking about Herpes, not HIV. but both for the record, are viruses (incurable, but can go dormant)
Viruses are passed on and contracted when the virus is present & active in the body.
Sometimes, though rarely a virus such as Herpes simplex (1 or 2) can be present without showing visible symptoms.
HIV is ONLY transmitted via blood to blood contact, and through vaginal and seminal fluid exchange.
I have on a few occasions had clients come in, seen what looks like a healing cold sore (still active & contagious) and had to turn them away, or I have had a gut reaction to a funny looking scab or skin bump around the groin, and terminated the date.
Better safe than sorry!
Something to be mindful about: wear a jimmy at all times for vaginal intercourse and anal intercourse. Condoms are our friends!
HOWEVER...condoms do not cover all parts of the body during intercourse, the balls and booty cheeks & assholes are exposed to skin sometimes.
I assume risk, every time I hop on to ride....but I have also in a non-obvious way already checked your bits out to make sure I dont see anything that are red flags to stop.
SEX WITH THE LIGHTS ON, I can dig it, it's sexy in more than one way.
Safer sex is sexy!
Clients, if you have an STI (infection) go get that shit taken care of, like..yesterday!
...It's a quick antibiotic.
Ladies, same thing goes for us. I get a full mock up every few months.
If you have an STD (disease/virus, like herpes)...please be mindful when you're body is in an outbreak and thus do not engage in sexual activity.
Being horny & having a day off does not excuse the potential to harm another person's physical health.
Thank you dear.....I haven't been referred to as well spoken since 4th grade however I think it was just my teacher being nice lol.
I have always been paranoid about stds which lead me to educate myself as much as possible so now I tend to get annoyed when people either put out bad information or just state somewhat accurate info in a really aggressive way which causes anxiety, panic etc in people who know very little on the topic and take 1 point of view as the gospel.
Proper education and prevention is a hobbyists best friend.
I for 1 can speak from over 30 years of having Genital Herpies. I never have infected anyone and never will. If I even feel a little out of the normal itching, tingling or redness I become the hermit and wash like I have OCD till all evidence of my life long rival has gone. These days it may happen every 18 months so a week or more off is no big deal. Sometimes teenage mistakes can affect you the rest of your life but at least this one will not have any consequences for anyone I have or will see. That's well over 60 partners so far. Pro's and civi's including my SO. It's not the end of the world. ![]()
