I just wanted to know your opinions on location.  How is Schaumburg vs. Oak Brook vs. O'hare?  Can someone please give me an honest opinion?  Please post here or email me at [email protected]

I don't think there is neccessarily one "right" answer to that question. My personal preference is downtown (North Michigan Ave. area) as the hotels tend to be a bit more upscale (not that there aren't fine places around O'Hare or Oak Brook), and it's convenient for those of us who either work in the loop (like me) or live downtown. As a result, I don't visit providers if I have to travel to there suburban location ( I have partaken in outcall services to my own suburban location).

On the other hand, for those who don't work in the loop or live downtown, traffic is more challenging, and parking can be difficult to find and expensive.

Depending on the length of your stay, you might want to consider 1-2 days in the burbs, and 1-2 days downtown?

Oak Brook seems like the best central location.  O'hare is also centrally located but parking is a bitch, whereas parking is no problem in Oak Brook.  

Downtown is obviously the place to be, but you may have trouble getting guys in the burbs to head downtown and battle parking problems which are 10x worse than O'hare.  Conversly, guys downtown usually have cars and have no problem making the 25-30 minute drive west to the burbs.

Getting to Schaumburg (IMO) is a pain in the ass no matter where you live (unless you actually live in Schaumburg).

I appreciate all of the email and responses to my post.  I have decided to visit Oak Brook, July 11th-20th.  O'hare, July 21-22.  Downtown, July 23-24th.  I will be leaving for Atlanta early July 25th.  Thank you to all of you Chicago gentlemen.
