If you're saying he should do the homework himself, sure, although guys do help each other out on this board a lot, even to the point of doing tin eye searches for others.  TheOP may have even done some homework.  He didn't say.  But your post said that a simple call was enough homework.  Maybe you can tell with a phone call.  Maybe even I could tell  if she's legit with a phone call, although I certainly wouldn't try it.  But who knows about the OP?  He has no reviews.  He may just be lazy.  He may also be a newbie who doesn't know what homework to do (which was my concern), or he may even have done a lot of homework.

But, " a simple phone  call telling you she's legit?" it might well tell me she's not legit.  But that she is legit? C'mon.

seach the number on ter. if there are no reviews call and ask her for some. if she has none- bad sign.
google the number or seach white pages.
if the girl belong to a "jack shack"(where they only dance for money) these are considered a rip-off.
this add maybe the case.
this is the only limited advise i can give u. as i am newbe myself.
if u are directed to a store front of any kind or a house on a busy street. these are "jack shacks".

Thanks butterscotch.  I am a newbie to TER.  Have to admit that Blaze's reply was a bit disappointing.  Usually here is what I do for "Homework".  I immediately search the provider's number and name using Google.  I then check the major boards for reviews.  If the number search doesn't come back with any decent info and if she has no posted reviews on the major boards, I try to post a question here in case anyone has see her or could verify she is legit.  As a last resort, I may TOFTT and call and make an appointment.  Should I try anything else?

So far, I haven't posted any reviews because I am both new and lazy (LOL).  I promise to start sharing more info and become a better TER citizen.  Thanks for your 2 cents.

Through my experiences....

I can tell right away after speaking on the phone with a lady if she's "the real deal" or a shady character. And I'm mostly referring to BP ladies. Examples are...

Her Phone etiquette
Her tone of voice
The way she carries herself
Her professionalism etc...

Or is that something you can decipher over the phone as well.  your suggestion that you should be able to tell a legit provider simply by talking to her is stupid at best and dangerous at worst. IMHO

There's nothing illegal about meeting someone in a hotel room or whatever.

As long as no illegal activities or P4P is discussed, you aren't doing anything wrong.

So you contact a known prostitute, or someone posing to be one.  You say nothing sexual, but why have you agreed to meet this woman.  If it's a set up your still most likely getting arrested.  Your right though just a little potential embarrassment and some good money to a lawyer and you walk.  Thanks but I'll look past just a phone call

Of course I'm not insisting you strictly judge the "Credibility" of a provider by just a phone call...

If she seems ok on the phone, then you research her, google her number etc...Maybe contact previous reviewers if she has reviews.

BUT if she sounds shady on the phone, save the time and don't even bother to research her, move on to the next one..
