Indentured servitude is a much bigger problem than most people realize and unfortunately it is not limited to the sex industry.   I know because it is tangentially related to my job, and no, I am not in LE.    

Let's start off with the fact that many of the Asian providers would not even qualify for a tourist visa.    When you see the ad for "Fresh off the boat," it literally means that.   Getting smuggled into the country costs somewhere in the order of 50K (much cheaper through Mexico but this is not how the Asians come in).   The ladies then have to pay the money back and often a lot more.    

In some cases, it is a family decision so that the lady can send money back home to the family.   In some cases, the promise is for work in another industry with a "change of plans" when the lady arrives to the U.S.    In some cases, there are threats to the family back home if they do not do what they are supposed to do.  The latter happens more with the Europeans and the mafia.  

Don't think you can make yourself feel better by asking the lady about her situation and how she really ended up at that massage parlor, incall, or whatever it is, they are scared and they will not tell you even if their English is good enough.

I agree 1000% with the previous posters, stay away from those places and those agencies.  To be sure, may be not all of them are involved in something like this, but why take the risk on contributing to something like this when there are other options?

The rest of your post is by and large media hype and outright lies promulgated mainly by LE who knows there is little support for incarcerating consenting adults, but that EVERYONE is against human trafficking.

The overwhelming majority of Asian sex workers come here with their eyes wide open. Even after paying back the cost of the visa, airfare, housing and booking fees, many of these women find themselves with enough money left over to buy a home or start a business back home. A single year of hard work here can be life altering for many of these women.

and If you would like to know what makes me such an expert, it's the fact that I have "dated" many asian providers, I am friends with countless others, and I am in contact with many of them AFTER they have returned home. Not to mention "sex slaves" and exploited women are NOT allowed to "date" OTC. I have had OTC time with dozens, if not hundreds of these women over a period of decades. Yes my accounts are anecdotal in nature, but my sample size is hardly a small one, between the ladies I have seen professionally, the ones I've actually dated, and all of their friends and coworkers that I have met OUTSIDE of their work environment over these last forty years or so, the number must run into the thousands and NONE of these women I met were here against their will.

Real human trafficking is a horrible crime, but to cast this big a net over all asian and European sex workers does more harm than the traffickers themselves.

and yes, women who work in AMPs often have American boyfriends that they see outside of the AMP, just because they tell you it's against the rules doesn't mean it's true. It may just be that they don't want to see YOU outside of business hours, just like any other independent or American agency girl.

You are correct, my post was driven by the fact that they don't want to see ME outside business hours, rejected too many times.    You are also correct with this post and the one below, my post was meant to discourage visits with Asians, Europeans and Ebony providers - you see, beyond my racist feelings, the white up-scale providers offered me a discount to post my reply.  

I am glad for you that over 40 years you have not encountered a single one of these ladies that was here against her will.   Like I said in my reply, this is not limited to the sex industry.   If you want to believe that there is no indentured servitude going on here in the U.S., go right ahead, but my professional experience tells me otherwise.

Look, by nature all of us who do this are very open minded, we believe that the government should stay out of what consenting adults choose to do, etc., but I believe that the OP posted a very valid concern.  I stated that you cannot generalize and assume all of the agencies are into this, but I would rather not partake when there are so many other options available.
