As a relative newbie, I submitted three reviews of recent escapades on Saturday(I think), and they are still pending as new. Can anyone tell me what the average turnaround time is? Should I assume the holiday has something to do with it? Will I be notified if they are rejected for some reason?
I keep reading posts by guys that say they don't write reviews because they often get rejected. I have to tell you guys, it doesn't take many details to get your reviews approved. There are a lot of reviews that get approved with 3-4 sentences of details. Doesn't seem that difficult. Am I missing something?
I believe the most prevalent complaint is the need to re-fill out all the up front information.
Opening multiple windows and copying/pasting the preliminaries is a bit easier, but it's still a pain. If there was an option to just fill out the details sections for a gal that already has a profile, I think that we'd see more reviews. JMHO
is probably just busywork intended to drive away the guys who try to submit fake reviews to get free VIP time.
Always amazed me that guys would go to all that work just to save the fifty bucks it costs to get three months of VIP.
Of course, I realize that one of the biggest problems for some guys to pay for VIP is not the expense but the ability to do it with discretion and out of the view of the SO.
I wouldn't have as much of a problem with re-filling out the info section if they took any changes into account, but if your girl 'was' athletic and you put down 'baby fat' it will not change the info on her profile. While I can see the fact they don't want a girl's profile changing every time a new client sees her depedning on that client's view of body shape and size, or other subjective info... height weight age, shaved or body modification (tattoos or piercings) should be pretty cut and dry to update.
But yes, as a VIP for review user myself, I find it much easier to just fill out the review than to crab about the process. I likes getting my free VIP when I do get a chance to get out.

It's supposed to take something like 3 days, but the boards have had complaints that now it's taking closer to 5. Perhaps the holiday has something to do with it, but TER is run by a foreign company. The fact that it was a weekend, might, however.

You're expecting too much from non-technical people, I guess. Sure, they COULD do that. But, most people would notice the immediacy of a UI change as in the beta site even if the 'innards' don't change.
