Cancellation policies

Okay I have to vent here not necessarily about having them but the transparency of them. And especially since I see this provider on the discussion board now acting all sweet. We can call her Dj AM. So first let's state their policy: Regrettably, more than once requires either a 50% donation of the canceled date or severing of our acquaintance.
Very fair policy and after that you should be compensated for you time: it's a business and that is understood. Have no issues with it. So prior to my very first appointment, I broke my ankle the night before. Went to the hospital and I even immediately contacted to cancel my appointment with her assistant. She was pleasant and very nice and said everything was okay. So three months later I try to set up another appointment since she was traveling prior to making Chicago permmenant residence. I was told because I cancelled that I had to pay the 50% and that it would be used for the session whenever I booked but until I give it can't set anything up. So I paid it. She then went out of town. Came back and I tried booking. And I got an appointment. I asked if my cancellation would then go towards this one. And her assistant said no. I asked why and she said because i booked after 30 days of paying it. I stated no where in any email did you say that and no where does it say you have 30 days especially since DJ AM loves traveling which makes it hard to book.
Don't mind cancellation ladies you should have them. I mind straight up shadiness. Poor reflection of other hard working people.
Now let the bashing of me start.

That was extremely wrong, especially since they required you to pay it before booking your next session, but then did not fulfill the session. I would be upset too. Charge it to the game and visit another provider. This one seems to not want to book with you or just wants more money. The headache isn't worth it.
