With all due respect I want to address something I see often. I believe many of you ladies know this but some don't. As far as marketing yourself to hobbyists, please follow a couple of best practices.

If you are an independent provider (the only type I see) please have your own website that is designed with taste. RS2000, Eros, Provider are all good but your own tastefully designed website is more personal.

On any website please have truthful pictures that are not selfies! Those camera shots in a mirror tell me I don't really know what you look like. I understand blurring the face. Change them every 6-12 months. Please please please be aware of the environment the pictures are taken in. A beautiful hotel room, outside in nature, on the hood of a car....I don't care, but have someone who knows what they are doing take the shot. NO pictures in a bathroom with dirty cloths on the floor and spare rolls of toilet paper being the pedestal sink. Be aware of what you are showing around you. The most beautiful women in the world surrounded by clutter and dirt is never appealing in any way.

Last, I can be extremely impressed but if I have to hunt for the donation amount, I may not bite (well maybe if we get together, lol). Have it on a tab spelled out any way you want but make it easy to find. Please don't just put "contact me". I do have things to do and one doesn't consist of scavenger hunting for donation amounts.

Ladies who do not practice this (or even those who do) take this with the spirit it is intended...to make you more desirable and my journeys of inquisitiveness a little easier on me.

I have an album of selfies on my site and always get compliments on them. I mean, they're not foggy mirror shots, but they are pretty grainy webcam shots from times between shoots or just when I'm feeling sexy in my bedroom. I think a wide variety of professional, (maybe a little enhanced), and self-shots are good.

agreed.  mix it up.....  both are best so the client can see all done up, as well as maybe more casual.  i do like both versions for sure.

I like your selfies.

I do agree with the OP's 'suggestions' as far as the pics of the messy backgrounds. If a woman is going to take pics of herself with no regards to a sloppy room behind her - be glad! You just saved yourself from going to a messy incall. You want someone who thinks of the little details in her marketing because she will think of these details with YOU. (Hopefully)

Professional shots? Of course that is going to look much cleaner and nicer. They can, however, airbrush the hell out of those pics. There is a plus side to selfies.

I do agree with Josephine. Selfies can do the trick if taken properly. Showing that one is investing in a business with pro photos is always smart. BUT - if the selfies are getting her the business she wants, and it's working for her, by all means - good for her.

@ Eddie - Take this is good strides hun… your OP came across, at least to me, a little bossy - like someone jumping into a new workplace, trying to take over leadership, though he hasn't been given the authority to do so. That'll piss people off. A suggestion and advice is nice, and I get what you're saying, but the "Please do this, and NO this," again, comes across bossy and arrogant.

If you want all these details and more, I'd look for ladies in a higher price bracket. i.e. $300/hour plus in Chicago.

Josephine, ignore that advice.  I much prefer your selfies.  They show the real you.  I saw one of you leaning into the camera, fully clothed, and I thought it was incredibly sexy.

Pro shots are great but they kind of distort reality.  I much prefer the unfiltered.

I've gone back to using my selfies a little more in my ads, so I definitely know the value of them, haha. I think the hype with photos is overdone, to be honest. I don't edit even my professional photos because accurate representation is something men here seem to complain about a lot.

I think I'll go take some more. :)

You hav a lot of demands....  When you have 50 or more reviews & not see $200 hooker then, maybe someone will care but til then stick to what you know-getting your dick sucked & leave the marketing/advertising for the providers.

to who he is or who he has seen on this very board. He has marketing standards. The ladies here can take or leave his marketing tips and desires, but don't confuse your disdain for his advice as him being new to the scene. He isn't by any means and doesn't need 50 reviews to prove anything. He's more than experienced. Trust that. Lo

Thanks for that. I actually do A LOT of research and don't see a lot of different people but I have been at this a little more than a week or two. Advice is just that. People can take it or leave it and no one is the wiser. Thanks for being one of those who took a mature approach to what should be a harmless opinion.

Thanks! I thinks its really important to have some good selfies AND professional ones.
I do get what your saying, but still...

If a certain lady does'nt have a well laid out website thats professional and informative with lots of pics, I Seriously doubt that's its because they are just dumb or dont know better/ were'nt aware, they probably just plain Dont care. Perio

I will try and take some of your advice.  :)

FYI.. the IRS does pay attention to rates on websites.

poor thing!
If you raise you rates and become a bit more professional, you wouldnt be getting fucked so much- literally! Try a nice hot bath, youll be alright! Sorry I felt so bad for you after reading that )=

Its got to suck working all day only to make the same amounth of money as what a high class girl does who only sees 2 Gents a day, IJS!

And FYI Darling, Ive BEEN audited by the IRS, while they DID look at literally everything, nope-
my website never came up, not once! Do your homework doll.

believe a key element of marketing is appropriate follow-up with clients. When a client requests a specific time and date for a get together along with references/verification information, I think they deserve a response. Even a short, sorry I can't make it, would suffice. I know it's my loss in some situations but I never ask again if I get no response whatsoever

Do you know how much all this advertising costs! I'm back from some off time and I am floored by the prices of pro pics and ads on reputable sites. We're talking $1500-$2000 of the bat which is a bitch to someone starting out/starting over. Some are doing the best they can. However for a certain price brackets you gotta either deal with what you got or save up your coins in the mean time, but a great website doesn't mean a great experience either. Its a toss up either way. I prefer selfies because its the real deal and free! But when I can, I will do my own site. Good advice, just not realistic for all. ^_^)
