I emailed her last week.

Her response was yes she was.

She's still listed on 3 different agency sites as K/Carmen, but she said she "used to be" with Apropo.

This is becoming like a silly season, I need a scorecard to follow all the moves.  There's more to come too from what I've heard.

do not show anything,  but looking at the last one, yes, it is Karmen.
Also, have any of you noticed that all of them have raised the compansation to the $$$$ mark?

Why?

OK... I understand about a lady to going independent (or not) - so far, it is still a free country... so she is free to choose.

But why change your name?

When one has spent time building a good rep, why risk confusing us simple minded gents with a new name?

Also knowing that 'name changers' are nearly always ladies with questionable service - again, why change?

Even more confusing - and remember I am easily confusable - why remain with the agency under one name and be 'independent' as another?  Why not one name?
