Veronica you have a good point. On the other hand I bet there are a lot of clients that would love to date a pregnant woman. I'm one of them - just the thought of touching a pregnant woman turns me on.
Surprised youd didn't get more inquiries/posts but maybe they are all PM?
When you begin lactating the line will be around the block.
So I have never felt sexier in my life then I do now that I am pregnant (6 months) and in all my network of provider friends none have ever enjoyed how they looked pregnant so they took the 9/10 months off.
So I am just curious to hear from anyone else.... thoughts about pregnant women? I have never had curves before (pre-pregnancy I was 32D-20-32 so I was teeny) and I didn't think I would like them but I feel so ...womanly. Personally I LOVED my body pre pregnancy and I will love it again after I have my little girl but I think pregnancy is the ultimate symbol of femininity and love and life and just everything about it is just so pretty and sexy. Agree.. disagree?![]()
And in no way is this a criticism-- the reason most providers take the time off is because they no longer have just themselves to think about, and it's not just you that you are putting at risk.
Please be careful.

As a mother myself, I urge you, very strongly, to think long and hard about engaging in this business whilst pregnant. I simply "went away" for a year and a half, only participated in my regular profession, did away with all the pretties, and the goodies and the travelling that I am used to because I had to give full attention and consideration to the innocent person inside of me who now was the most important person in my entire life.
No matter how careful you are, this business is not exactly a safe one. Knock on wood, in 10 years, I have never been so much as remotely threatened or had any run ins with any governmental or municipal employees. All it takes is one rough or unethical client or one run in with the law and your child is in danger. The government employees see you are pregnant and CPS or DCFS could be waiting outside that delivery room and swoop in to remove your child because mommy is a "prostitute". I have seen it happen to a friend. CPS and DCFS have caused nightmares to innocent people who never deserved to have their children removed, yet let others live in danger despite repeated red flags and warnings.
Adoption is an industry. It is a billion dollar industry and it can be an extremely crooked industry. They want newborns and they want them bad as there is far more demand than supply and don't think governmental agencies aren't in cahoots with the adoption agencies. Older kids, well they don't go so fast, so the governmental agencies don't pay too much attention when they are in danger. Fresh from womb is in high demand, particularly if you are caucasian or latina (no offense, I am just stating the truth I've gleaned from statistics).
If they see you are not pregnant, you don't have to tell them you have kids. You are just another booking and if you don't piss anyone off, they won't have any reason to look into your records. In, out, done.
The most important person in your life is the one inside you. I urge you to think about everything I have written as this is the voice of much experience. Living frugally for a year ain't so bad when it comes to your child.
