I recently tried to book an appointment with a visiting lady.  Her site said she accepted RS2k.  I competed the booking form.  When she replied she acknowledged the RS2k information, then asked for additional references.  I explained that the reason I used RS2k was to avoid the hassle of individual references.  That  was the last I heard from her.  Has anyone else had similar experiences?

If you only have one or two, or the ones you have are old.  Otherwise, it would be redundant for her to ask for more, and I agree, what's the purpose of a hobbyist being a member if he doesn't get the benefit of preapproval? I would send an email to them.  

I've been using it for over 10 years.  I would not classify myself as a prolific hobbiest, but I play at least once every month to month and a half.  In most cases I use RS2k.  I am not concerned, I found it odd.  

Possibly she does not understand, or trust their value.

I agree with you, once you have RS2K, you don't need references for me.
I don't like taking references, anyway.  Everyone has their own experience.
But, on the visitors defense, RS2K is well-known as a very reliable resource in Chicago, but not so much other places, although it is a world-wide service.  Cathy has even verified European guys for me! Each lady has her way of doing business, and rightly so.
We have to respect their comfort zone.  It is not an easy thing to be traveling and meeting complete strangers.  We just make it LOOK easy!

Since you said she was visiting, maybe she does not fully trust RS2K....

RS2K seems strongest in this area... she may have signed up for an ad, but still wants more for verification...   As a new visitor, she may not know RS2K well.

Frankly, you will never know her reason(s) for what she did... but do not stress trying to figure them out.

Because they verify the guy's name and phone number. Saves us a step.  

The length of time one has been a member is listed on the form that is sent back to us.  And if there is a "warning" about a particular client they also will post that.

So, For me, when RS2K explained that to me....  I felt pretty confident in their system.......  Especially when someone has been a member for a long time.  

Then came a situation in which I could test the system......AN EXAMPLE:  When sending a verification request for someone,  I DID receive a note back from RS stating that there had been two incidents reported to them;  I wont go into specifics, but I noted the dates were like 3 and 5 years ago.     I decided to see the client  in spite of that.....  knowing that chemistry between two people can often be different.  
Of course, I did not mention any of this to the gentleman.   ((What would be the point of that? and I'm not about to start any drama with a client))
Well, we met, had a great time, no issues at all, he also saw me a second time after which I did send a note to RS2K asking them to UPDATE the info they had for this client as I had two very positive experiences with him.    They wrote back and THANKED me for send them the update!   I do Hope and Believe they updated it, as he was a wonderful client with me.  

Oh, and ONE time on the verification reply, there was a note about how really really super nice the Client was!   That was fun to see.  I felt it was safe to mention that to the client.....he was blushing, saying, yes, I was told by a few others that was there.....   we laughed about it.

Upon doing research prior to my first visit to Chicago, I knew immediately I needed to become a member.  So I signed up for an entire year.  

I REALLY LIKE RS2K!!!  I will be a member with them for as long as I'm in the business!
Now I just have to figure out how to get more guys in MN to use it.  

Now I'm all curious about what people have written about me!

What exactly does a provider see when they use RS2K. I recently joined and of course sent my ID over. Just curious if they see the scanned ID, because it's the worst picture of me ever taken..lol

As a hobbyist, and in civvie life I take my reputation and integrity seriously.  
Treat people well and respectfully and you'll never go wrong.
Now that's not say some folks won't do you wrong, that's life.

Now a few things could be at work.  Either this is an alias, in which case there could be too little data or some negative info on you, in which case she was attempting to be extra safe, or giving you a 2nd shot. Can you fault her?
Or.....you are newbie, in which case she wants a  more info about you. Such as, do you write reviews....are they positive, truthful, respectful, brash, malevolent, etc... And in many cases, what the lady says about how good you are in the sack, dick size so she has the correct condoms, all that shit.....  
Funny story....  earlier this yr a fav lady of mine left her oil bag of condoms behind, being experienced she had all sizes, types

Nope, I'm nice and normal and have no reason to suspect bad notes. I thought it was cool that people would also write good notes, though. I figured I probably had notes saying I'm a sex god and have 6-pack abs. LOL

It's amazing how the DMV can destroy any semblance of good looks. I've never seen a good DL photo.
