It makes no difference weather you have 5 or 25 to me. No issue of credibility, I look at it as there are large agency's and small agency's.
What would alarm me is if you had 5-6 girls then suddenly went to 2 girls. That would cause me to wonder if something is wrong.
When you go to an agency website and find they have 20 or 30 women or even more, do you feel that they are more credible than one that only has 5 or 6 or even 8-10?
I had a guy indicate this to me recently and I find this interesting. I happen to know of 2-3 "agencies" at least that have 20-30 plus women on their site and yet only really have 3-5 that actually work there. Does an agency like this appear to be more successful because they show more women than an agency that has 5-10 or does it not matter to you.
I am talking about first appearance. Obviously, if you do your research properly, the reviews will help you figure it out. So, strictly from an appearance standpoint, what do you think?
Since most of the time I'm researching using TER, for me it doesn't really matter to me what the website looks like. But from experience, I've never talked with an agency that shows more than a few ladies AND has them all available. For me, the premier agencies in Chicago (you know who you are!) work with a handful of ladies that are all very talented, and usually available.
When I see an acengy with 20 women I stay away. It has always been my belief that when agencies are that big there is a better chance that you get a different girl than the one you wanted to see. I used to read about that a lot a few years ago when I first started in the hobby. Mike I tink that you have always had a great group of girls. There are a few of your old girls that I wish would come back (Nikki), but you always find great replacements.

I don't see how the number of employees one has makes them a better business when it comes to providing service.
It has to do with the quality of service and attitude towards your customers.
For me personally, it doesn't matter how many girls they have listed. I'm looking at who they have and if any of the girls interest me. I then check their reviews. Remember Mike, quantity does not mean quality.
Personally, I think an agency that has 5 to 8, is more reliable than those with 20 to thirty. On appearance to me, huge agency, may just be putting up pictures, and bait and switch operation
My experience is huge list is just that just a list and most not available and with a few teasers thrown in to boot that one will never see.
I think this may have to be from a newbie's naive standpoint. The image is that if an agency appears to have more women, they are more successful because they can retain and manage that much. Even if most of them no longer work there, I think it's an image issue.
I guess it's more of an issue of an 'educated consumer'. And educated hobbyist, having read this or having been 'around' for a while would know better and would then pick strictly on reputation and not first looks.
All I need is one good provider I dont care if they 20 or 30 or they working or not.
But you are right if the girls dont work then remove them from the web site..to me its false advertising and I wont trust them with their girls either..
I have noticed many of those agencies with 20/30 ladies usually only have a few of those 20/30 'available' at any one time.
So... seems to me, an agency that has fewer ladies but they are ALL available is a better business model.
Seems the 20/30 lady agencies are playing 'she is not available, but how about this other lady' game...
well, basically I shy away from agencies, so I'm probably not an expert. However, I am not totally without experience. Sometimes if a dude is looking for some weekend fun, or mid to late evening agencies are the best bet. I've found that in most cases legit agencies with the quality of company I desire tend to have less than 10 "models" on their site. Unless of course, they are a National agency. Local organizations with tons of different ladies usually only have a couple available and rarely the hotties. They also seem to be the least trustworthy. Mike, your site is not the flashiest I've seen, but it does [ at least to me] give the impression of being real.
No. As long as they have 4 or 5 it is fine. Anything more than 10 seems unrealistic and that they are misrepresenting things.
While the eye candy is often better at the 'large' agencys, it still comes down to reading reviews. If there are 20 girls listed, and only 2 have reviews, those are the 2 I am interested in. If the reviews say that the girl is the same as in the pics, and the review is good, that girl and agency show up on my radar. If it's B&S or the reviews are bad they do not. I know a lot of the larger agencys have traveling girls and have a lot of come-and-go employees, so I won't fault them for leaving some nice eye candy up for a while if a few of the girls drop off their radar. I guess my only other concern is a 'large' agency would seem to attract more unwanted attention, but I'm sure most successfull agencys large or small would be prudent with screening to minimize the risk.
To address your concern(what I think is your concern at least). I think most of us here appreciate our local groups, MTA included, that keep their sites up to date and take down girls that are no longer available. The effort does not go unnoticed.
SMEGMA!!
You would be surprised how many phone calls I get from men who want to know if they are really speaking to me. These are guys who have used agencies in the past and were victims of "bait and switch."
I get some of my best clients after a bad agency experience. I am sure this is true of MTA.
probably should be rephrased, LOL. I read it and went "what?"
And multi-tasking. You are correct. Mike and MTA are reputable. What I meant to say is that his agency gets clients because of his reputation and because of some gents bad experiences with Lbait and switch" agencies.
Mike, sorry that came out wrong!
It does not matter how many ladies an agency has as long as the agency has ladies who care, enjoy, and most importantly have fun. It is all about the quality not the quantity. You might have 4 girls or 20 girls, but if there is that lady that is all about quality (always at a high class places) and shows that she enjoys our time together, that is the lady I will be coming back to!
Based on first appearance...
Coming from someone who hasn't used an agency (yet), I would look at the quality of the ladies over quantity. Just because an agency may have 20-30 providers on their site doesn't mean that they're better or more credible than a smaller agency with 5-6 or 8-10.
Of course...
Experienced hobbyists would not stop at "first appearances" in doing their research. An agency's reputation towards customer service, reliability, and maintaining the customers confidentiality are also very important factors ...and again, size (of the agency) doesn't matter ...LOL.
I think this maybe onetime when less is more. It has been my experience that agencies with a large # of women displayed on their website rarely employee all you see. It is not unusual for a ladies photos to remain on the site even after she has left the agency. (for good or bad reason if her photos are good enough). Personally if I want to make an appointment with a specific lady and an agency tells me she is not available at this time; I ask when she will be, if I cant get a straight answer odds are she doesn't work there anyway in my opinion. To put it another way if i call today for an appointment tomorrow and the girl is not available i would rather wait 1-2 wks til she is (if she is real).
Doc
While I know your last paragraph was meant to avoid this answer, to me it doesn't really matter. I'm mostly looking to find a provider I find attractive the first time I see a site. If I find one I like, then I'm immediately going to TER and doing Google searches to find reviews on the agency and provider in question. Thus, the number of women on the site is irrelevant.
Yes, the first impression would probably be "small-time" wanna-be operation. But smaller usually equates to better service in every business I'm familiar with. I deal with a large agency which is pretty good but it's not always smooth sailing. Unanswered calls are the biggest problem and hopefully a smaller agency would provide better customer service so we're not left waiting in the parking lot for a call back.
As for the number of ladies who actually work compared to the number advertised, that practice would make me question their honesty & reliability. If they're lying about the number of ladies working for them, what else are they lying about?
Bottom line is if the lady I seek is available, that's good enough for me. If I keep requesting and none of them are available, time to move on.
You've been around long enough that almost everyone knows your rep. If anything were amiss, the news would travel like wildfire.
Just as I want to verify a lady on TER, so too, I want to verify the agency. Showing ladies who are no longer with you does not speak well of the agency. If I'm interested in a particular lady on your site I will of course check out her reviews, if there are any. But she may be new and have no reviews. (Everyone has to start somewhere.) In that case your own reviews are particularly important to me. You screen me. Do you screen your ladies? Can I rely on your judgment?
Consequently, once I'm interested in a current lady I'll search your phone number and look at reviews of other current ladies as well as reviews of those who haven't been with you for several years. I don't mind a bit that you've had turn-over, just as long as your quality is consistently good. At that point the MTA (or other agency) Seal of Approval is meaningful.
At first glance, I would definitely not think more women means more credibility.
If anything, the more moving parts, the easier it is for the system to break down so I'd probably see it quite the opposite.
I base it on the reviews of the ladies and what is said about the agency. The agencies that have several ladies on their site, rarely have them availible.
bottom linne is I stick to reviews and the agency's rep.
. . . I've been pretty cynical. A large bevy of women makes me distrustful, a small number of women suggests credibility.
