What is the best Jazz Club in town for a gal to go on Fri night?  Has to have great TRADITIONAL jazz and not too far from downtown.  New Orleans style, Lou Armstrong, Ella Fitzerald would be prime examples of what i am addicted to.

I know Chicago has great public transportation .. but not sure i will brave it.

come back over Labor Day for the Chicago Jazz Festival.

Andy's at 11 E Hubbard can be pretty good.

The Green Mill on N. Broadway depending what is on the schedule.

I know its not Jazz, but its a great time! Also, the Bare Naked Ladies are playing tonight.

Cab fare from downtown is aroung $15?

I ended up going to Backroom which I learned is in the heart of what u folks call "viagra triangle".. Got a laught about it.

Did few touristy things .. Like house of blues and michigan ave ... But also got to play with few very fine folks. I am not saying gentlemen because there was a lady involved

Definately will be back and sooner than I though!
