Hello Chicago!

Before I book a tour, is there anything I need to know about the O'Hare area?  I'm out of touch so any info to bring me up to speed would be great.

Is O'Hare a safe place to stay these days?
Which sites are best to advertise?
How's the food?  I remember lots of delicious food available in the O'Hare area and I love to eat!  Are there any new places I should try? Are there any areas or businesses I should avoid?

For the touring ladies, do you tour there with success these days?

Lots of options around Ohare for hotels that are safe.  Most of the big chains have a presence there and the agencies keep them full, lol.  
Don’t know much about food as I am downtown.

First off, welcome back to the Chicago area! You are a true companion and your presence is appreciated by those of us who have had the good fortune to meet you. In terms of the area, Rosemont/O’Hare faces nowhere near the challenges Chicago does, in terms of safety. You should be very comfortable there. About the only thing to add as a consideration would be Oakbrook, as it is a bit more “upscale”…probably the best way to put it.  

In terms of O’Hare dining, there are still so many good options. As it is a convenient place to stay for business men/women, there are many of the traditional steakhouses (Capital Grille, Morton’s, Gibsons, etc.) along with Italian steakhouse options like HarryCaray’s, McCormick & Shmick’s, and Carlucci’s.  I know there are some high end seafood chains in the area as well. Just can’t think of the names. Oakbrook has great restaurants as well. Wherever you to choose to stay, feel free to come back here with names of any restaurants that intrigue you… I’m sure someone here will have an opinion/some insight on your choice.  We look forward to having you back!

Thank you for the kind words and information.  Mentioning some of those restaurants made me a bit hungry...I always eat well when in the Chicago area!
