Long time hobbyist even though I don't write many reviews.  

My schedule doesn't allow me to partake as often as I would like but when I do have time I usually try to plan neetings well in advance. I send messages or email and request additional info like availability. I'm amazed how few women respond. Am I missing something? Are ladies worried I'm wasting their time if I only write a short intro email?

Just surprised there doesn't seem to be a better response time/rate.

I started two days ago... looking for this Friday. I though 4 days was perfect... amazingly few responses.

Peculair that with 4-days advance notice, which is near perfect, that you are having poor responses back.

In my experience, I know a gentleman is serious about meeting me, when he sends his pre-screening form (or screening info in email) with his initial contact. I have a soft spot for efficiency!
Sometimes I get a special note, sent separately too introducing themselves. Always love the personal touch.

But emails which ask about my availability and state that the client is a 'upscale professional male with references'...well, that doesn't mean much to me. It can otherwise sound like cheap talk, when it's just as well to send proof via sending his prescreening.  

I frequently get emails asking for my availability, but I am less inclined to respond to...since my website has my up-to-date calendar, unless the gentleman has been more specific:
"I am inquiring about your availability on Friday Oct 18 in the early afternoon for a 3/hr date"....ie

I too am amazed at the non-responses and unhelpful responses resulting from scheduling or availability requests with both providers and agencies. Also, I never ask questions without providing verification information and reading the website first.  
Personally, I just move on to someone else.

I'm a relative beginner, but I have a different take. I like to book in advance because I know when I have availability (travel, etc) far in advance and I like to lock it down, so it's one less thing to worry about. Some ladies do not like to do this and some are not available when I will be. I do not want to send all my personal info, references, etc to someone only to have them say, "not available." Then I've wasted my time and let me info just hang out in the ether.
I usually write a short polite  stating the exact date and time I'm looking to meet, a brief description of myself and an offer to send any info necessary once availability is confirmed. I'm more comfortable with this and I have a decent response rate.
I think asking for a specific time is key, since it makes you look like less of a flake.

timing might be it but I don't see why it would be a problem . I have free time as  long as there is advanced scheduling

I have a little different take. You are requesting a Friday night between 5 & 6. I know that many girls also have a full time job and I know that between 5 & 6 would be impossible for them to be ready to see you at this time. The other issue is that it is a Friday night and many girls I know are getting ready to go out with their friends, cuz after all it is Friday.

Even for me outcalls are very slow because most people go home to their families or their private life. I can do an outcall but to get a hotel on a Friday night is also an expensive proposition unless you have a place to host.

I usually only offer outcalls on Friday and Saturday just because then I also have my freedom to do what I want. The only possible person I know is a girl that is 750 for 1 1/2 hours. Also you didn't state your budget so its really hard to help you.
