And what a lady you are!!!!!

Just keep the great advice cuming, Sinful. Between your wisdom, your talents and your beauty (not to mention two other magnificent assets), you contribute so much to the Chicagoland community and the Board. Thank you.

For the newbie posters on this board.  If you are a lady, please keep in mind that this is an open forum available to men and women.  As such, if you are writing to discuss problems with a client, you are better off posting on the provider board.    Also consider, a "Jerry Springer" attitude will only hurt your business.  If you disagree with a gentleman's post, tactfully respond without attacking.  Why would you want to get into an argument with a potential client or show your "negative" side to a potential client base?

For gentlemen, do you homework before posting a query.  If you are posting a question looking for a provider in a particular area, start by using the search feature.

If you are asking information about a specific provider, do not use an alias.  Some gentlemen prefer to answer your question in a private PM and not on the discussion board.  You cannot send a PM to an alias.

Do not post a comment like:  I am in Chicago staying at the Hyatt and looking for companionship.  The response you will get will be something like "Why not post your room number also?" and it will be sent from an alias such as "Officer Friendly."

Visit the FAQ for Newbies board.  All those questions that you are likely to ask about; donations, tipping, two call system, how safe is hobbying, etc. are answered on that board.

Do a search on this board before posting a question.  You can search by subject.  For instance, if you are concerned about RS2K, search under RS2K and you will get volumes of responses and opinions about this prescreening service.

Questions about reviews, their status or why they were rejected should go to admin and should not be posted on this board.  The moderators have no control over reviews.

Familiarize yourself with the "Self-Help Center."  You can access this by looking directly under the note regarding this board's moderator.

Think before you react.  The moderators of this board do not take kindly to flamefests as well they shouldn't.  They are moderators and not referees and we are all adults.

In any group there will be people who dislike each other.  This is expected.  But, rather than attack someone or hijack their post, simply because you dislike them... be an adult and simply ignore messages that they post.

The golden rule is the best one.  Treat others the way you wish to be treated.

Its amazing that in Chicago we need 2 moderators to moderate this board because it has become so toxic.  We are fortunate that Dr. Gonzo and Funtimes have been as patient with the members of this board as they have been.

Hopefully we can all get past this and have some fun.  *wink*  After all, isn't this hobby all about fun???

Great advice Sin.

I am a noob, and have lurked here on the Chi-board, but have posted.   I have received some great advice on the Newbie board.

I am just getting started, so it's all new to me.

Unfortunately, it will be business as usual tomorrow.  I hope and pray that I'm wrong and that folks actually make an attempt.

Not around here, you'll have to do the research as usual, and spoon feed as needed!!

How come it sounds so much nicer coming from you? Seriously.... this sums it up quite nicely.

Thanks once again Sinful for shining your light of reason on this subject.

I sincerely hope this helps all who take the time to read it.

Great post as usual Sinthia.  Nice to see someone has been paying attention, taking notes and has taken the time to point out the recent shortcomings of the board in a very non-combatant and helpful manner.

Right on Sinful, by warming your back side last night at the VIP party I must have moved some real intelligent thoughts to you....LOL  Thanks for your eloquent summation...

I guess one could say "you really had my back" lol

Thanks for helping keep me warm!!! I guess I could have sat elsewhere, than by an open window, but what fun would that be?

would you consider becoming a moderator should one resign?

Too cute.  But there are no female moderators and I am not about to have a sex change.  Lol.

I like being a lady,,, lol

Sinful would be a dam good moderator. She is by far one of the most straight forward and pleasant person I have ever meant.

Did I forget to mention...... awfully hottttt as well.
