and most of the time it isn't an issue. The best thing you can ever do before a date is use a tongue cleaner and nibble a mint before entering. You will taste good and I will be all over you demanding kisses and trying to stick other yummy parts of me in your mouth.
Not the best thing is to walk in right after a smoke smelling and tasting like a cig. I can handle the taste of a cig but it isn't a HUGE turn on so most likely will not be climbing all over you to kiss you. Might be a little more cautious about what you are doing downstairs as well if you want to DATY.
The worst is those who don't brush their teeth often or at all that also smoke, the taste of rank mouth is really unappealing and just makes me want to do something else with my mouth other then kiss. To be honest these are not sticking their face any where near my kitten, only clean mouths go there.
I know, I know this is totally TMI but you asked so I thought maybe a little elaboration might help. Smoking is not a deal breaker to most ladies, however some are sensitive and the smell can send them into a coughing fit. And if they are a non-smoker it may or may not hinder your ability to have a true GFE session.
Keep a Wisp in your care(they sell 2pks at the $ store) and use it to brush your tongue before visiting. Maybe get a bottle of Listerine pocket spray, or the Scope one is good too. Perhaps even just an Altoid to freshen. Trust me when I say the effort will be appreciated and rewarded.

as long as his oral hygiene is not abysmal because of it. I don't mind being around smoke or smelling it in a room/venue (within reason), but I DON'T want to taste/smell it on breath, hands, clothing etc. Just my thoughts
