I completely understand the 2hr minimum as why some ask for that. Why? Because I will correlate it to as you were using the restaurant likeness that you used before for servers.
There are many different kinds of restaurants, there is the drive through(those that allow the 15-30min quick appts would be in this type), then there are the sit down restaurants(those who offer 1hr minimum and may do an occasional 30min), but then in a class all their own are the fine dining establishments(these would be the ladies asking for 2+hrs minimum).
Now, the differences are all quite clear.
Fast Food, or drive through you are all about getting what you want quickly o you can move on the the next thing you want to do. I think we all do this from time to time. Be it sex or food maybe you are just strapped for time and only want a quickie. When this is what you are looking for you seek out a fast food restaurant, or on our side a lady who offers a shorter appt time. What you don't do is goto a sit down restaurant and demand you be served next because you only have 15mins, you goto McD's, or Wendy's. So if this is the type of hobbiest you are find ladies who offer quickies, don't bitch to the 1hr minimum ladies that they should charge you 1/2 because you only want 30 of the 60 mins(thsi happens ALOT!). Keep in mind if you are one of the below hobbiest types, that those who offer quickies also offer longer, they look to satisfy all of your hunger cravings.
Sit down, well now you are looking to have a meal and not have to deal with driving your car while eating. Looking to enjoy but not stay to long, maybe even order an appitizer. These are the ladies that spend the hour with you and don't offer less... So you get some nice foreplay and progress, maybe even finish a couple times and don't ask the lady to go over on time just to accomplish it. Your dining is slow but progresses quickly, in no time you are at dessert and wipe your lips thinking that was great. A little conversation before also helps. This type allows for that. More relaxed but at the same time it progresses nicely. These ladies would be insulted if you asked for a lesser time unless you were a long time regular and it was understood that 30mins is all you need and would never go over, then and only then they might say ok but not for 1/2 rate.
The last type of restaurant is the fine dining establishment. You know the ones, when the ambiance is cool and sophisticated with music that relaxes in a environment that screams upscale and top shelf. This is that place that you first are asked what you would like from the wine steward that wanders to each new table, and he comes back after a tie with his finest for you to sample before you accept. Then comes your waitress to assist you with your ordering process and to guide you through what you might want. She will have a smile the whole time and will not become frustrated no matter how many questions you ask or what not. Your order consists of an appetizer, a salad, a entree w/side you had to order separately since everything is ala carte here, and the dessert. The progression is slow but smooth and you are able to enjoy each course before moving on to the next. Dinner takes approx 3hrs and after you are so relaxed and you just feel so indulged and special because that is how these types of places make you feel. Now you can have a lovely long dinner at a sit down place or even a fast food joint and perhaps you feel this way after. However you would NEVER walk into one of these places and ask for your meal "to go" or give them a time limit and expect the entire experience in an hour or less. These ladies specialize in the more relaxed and laid back approach choosing not to be rushed or cater to those who might want to rush them. Often times these ladies choose to only visit with 1 guest a day or just a few in a week. This is what they offer, period and it is laid out and explained ahead of time that they do not offer a lesser experience.
So, with that said. I understand WHY they choose to do that minimum, and if that is not what you want then move on and see them when you are of a mindset to indulge for the long visit. Though we do cater to you as providers, we still choose what we would like to offer of ourselves to you. If we are only comfortable with 2hrs+ then pushing for less is likely to leave you wondering why it didn't feel like her reviews, ummm because you wanted an appt she doesn't offer and is not really comfortable with. Doesn't take a brain surgeon to understand that.
Not trying to be bitchy, but guys when you push for something that is not offered 9/10 times if you are not declined your service will suffer and providers don't forget. Push for a less time frame, or push for a discount when one isn't offered you get labeled as cheap, push for added services that aren't offered and you get branded with many other names depending. You best bet is ALWAYS to find those who offer what you seek because those are the ones that are comfy with offering those things, hence usually a better time because of it.
