I agree completely!

If I don't feel like being bothered at home, I won't answer the land line regardless of who it is.  It drives the SO crazy.

Ha! I bet! Sometimes I'll let my phone die, hop on a train, ride it to the last stop (or whichever one sparks my interest), and just explore the city. I love the solitude sometimes.
