A good option by Soldier Field is the McCormick Hyatt - easy to get to, park, safe, etc.  Also probably less pricey than some of the loop/Michigan Ave hotels.  As long as there isn't a huge conference when you are in town.

Added bonus, it's close to me :)

What area of Chicago would most of you hobbyists, and ladies recommend to stay?

Thanks Chicago!! :-P

But I can recommend a few taco joints. lol

How can you live in this town and not be a pizza fan?

BTW, how come no one ever posts looking for great taco joints?

Best way to advertise on the "Discussion Board."

One more question...is thea area near the Stadium a good place, and what area would this be considered? Maybe I will split areas??

O'Hare & Mag Mile ( Michigan Ave) areas most popular then the others.

Split your time between O'Hare and city downtown. As far as the city goes, by the football stadium (Soldier Field) could mean different things to different people. There are a number of business hotels along Michigan Ave and there are a couple way east on Wacker drive. There are more parking options north of Roosevelt Road.

I don't have any personal experience with it since I've never stayed there, but it looks gorgeous.

You may get some good advice from the providers only board, too. Sometimes the hotels will have security that requires you to use a door key to operate the elevator.

.....split your time in Downtown and O'hare .......  this is a big metro area.
Good alternatives that might work for you are the OakBrook/Lombard/Downer's Grove area  or Schaumburg.

Providers and Hobbiests, I have to say, thank you soooo... much for all your kind emails and replies!!  I'm really looking forward to visiting your area!! I need to update my web page but feel free to Google me.

Of course, convenience is a relative term that means something different for everyone.
For instance, the search function is convenient for most, not for others. For the "others," this post is for you
