Comments?Based on the way you phrase your message, it sounds like your biggest concern is not handing the copy over, but potential safety/discretion complications afterward.
If it were me, this is the checklist I would use:
1) does she use encrypted email, like protonmail?
2) are you also using encrypted email (preferably on the same platform as her)?
If no to either of those, you should consider ANY information you give out as good as compromised.
4) Does she say anything about how she handles the information after screening?
5) What's her reputation (reviews, board comments, etc.)?
6) Have you asked her if it's ok to reach out to any of her past reviewers, or have you made any requests on the board about others' experience with this provider?
IF she uses encrypted email (and you do as well), AND she's careful with the info and has a very positive reputation, you're likely in good hands. The reality is that the more careful a provider is in screening, the less chance overall that any of your information will end up in the wrong hands, ever. The only exceptions I can think of are if she's a vindictive hot mess (why you want to check on #4-6), or if she's very new (less than a year) and her screening has more to do with trying to cover a lot of bases without really knowing how to properly screen.
I already gave my Driver license, credit card info, address, phone and city to RS2k, I have verifications with other agencies. If the provider is too cheap to subscribe to RS2k or too lazy to call a few other providers. I say dont patronize extreme vetting!
Plenty of options out there who maintain safety without requiring you to risk your privacy.

anyone who would ask for such things, major red flag. if TER, P411, or other provider references are not sufficient I would be nervous about her motivation. Done .. next ...

Is it possible to use an app like SnapChat, where messages auto-delete after 24 hours, to provide information like this securely. Is there an app where I could be certain the message was deleted and not saved? Or is this completely stupid? Of course she can always photograph the message screen ...

Cause a woman that I want to see, asks for photo ID as part of screening. I am sure most people just send drivers licenses. I still have my old college ID, and I sent her a copy of that and I got no pushback from her.
Are we still acting like we can't just find a provider who screens within the bounds you feel comfortable? Just find one that doesn't request a DL but don't be surprised because there are many girls, myself included ( if I am really wanting to screen throughly) that ask for ID. I mean personally I don't want to see someone who won't give me their personal info. It's ok if you don't want to, just don't expect me to want to come suck you like a champ if you don't. Guys like Joey the player are the reason many people are requesting true life identification. It's not that crazy when girls are still coming up missing and dead.

We don't ask for a copy of ID as part of our screening method but many providers do.
As Eve so wonderfully pointed out, you have many avenues to find out if we are legit so that link you posted doesn't happen to you. Reviews, forums, back channel, social media. It's very, very easy.
Screening ensures safety and weeds out the violent psychos. People with bad intentions don't want to screen. That's just a fact.
As far as Rs2k - I love them and they will do individual verifications for 10 dollars each if you are not an advertiser. So if a provider you want to see doesn't have an ad package there you can pass on that info. She may not know.
But really, if you are uncomfy with a providers screening there is no reason to make a fuss. As others said, just move on. Trust me on this, complaints on the boards won't change her screening practices to accommodate you. I often think that this is why posts like this and complaints are started.

If you are uncomfortable giving your driver's licence over the internet, I totally agree. I always wonder if men are out of their damn minds doing so... even though I ask for them lol!
RS-AVS.COM is your go-to, but please, leave the lady be and don't try to convince her of something that will make her uncomfortable. It will ruin YOUR date.
Also, to cordially respect boundaries gives you a chance in the future, should you have a change of heart about a Driver's Licence exchange.
When I had an assistant, she asked for ID in a separate email if that helps for future reference.
Do what you feel safe. I would be hesitant to complain publicly to ensure she wouldn't be even less comfy seeing you.

My impression of screening services like RS2K is that us hobbyists embrace them and providers and agencies, on the whole, don't. I don't know why not; they seem like the ideal solution. We turn our information over to one or two services who have credibility with respect to keeping things confidential. The services vet us, thoroughly. For every appointment, we get a one-time code name or number from the service that we give to the provider/agency just before the appointment starts. Everybody stays anonymous and everybody stays secure. I don't know why more providers won't buy into this. Far more complex transactions than the ones we do are done this way every day.
