So, there was a discussion a couple of weeks ago about WHY women get into the business....

I have an additional reason for staying in.... If I don't, I would probably buzz my clit off with my hitachi. I obviously play frequently in my personal life, but I am SUPER happy to have my work satisfy a need as well. I was out of commission all week last week with a concussion (yes, I'm fine) and I realized how much "working" helps keep me satisfied.  

My libido is out of control - like there is maybe something wrong with me, but I'm not complaining (until I have little sex for a week). Also, the I have definitely fetishized the transactional, escape-from-reality context as well so that can rev me up too. Sometimes in high stress times, it does go down though, and I do find that my desire to meet anyone does as well.

Do any other providers find that this business helps satisfy a personal need? What about the opposite? Do you have to take breaks if you have a lower libido? Does the context of the situation turn you on, or do you use other methods to channel your sexuality?

I found myself into this position (well, may positions actually!) LOL ~~ Where if I take a couple of days off and I am just by myself, playing with "myself" it just isn't enough... Does that make any sense?? I got into Porn for one reason and that is to get laid... yes obviously this industry and my former one pays and paid the bills which is/was a bonus... but I find myself more in desire of the touch every day...  
Especially if you find someone who can really hit those buttons.. or many of those who can hit those buttons... OK... Now I am getting turned on again... Damn it... LOL
Maybe you and I are a lot alike. We can make "friends" and if you are Bored or have nothing to do maybe you can do ME and I can do YOU ... What do you think?? It might help our libidos.

I do feel like it's a self-fueling problem too though. I am worse off if i have to take a break since I have been working again!

I have the same problem when I travel for work (and I've been traveling a lot.)

The other day I was jet lagged and couldn't sleep. I beat off four times that day. Usually I'm two a day, once in the morning, once at night. Sometimes if I don't have dinner plans, I get a third one in after I get back to the hotel room after work.  

I'm back to my normal self at home, but in the hotels, I just can't get enough.  

Thank goodness for on-line resources, I used to blow a lot of cash in towns in pursuit of a good strip clubs or amp. Hot women are a lot easier to find now. And when that doesn't work, there's porn. Thanks, Internet!!

I personally like our "little situation" .... The only problem with me is the more I get the more I want... so that is difficult for me... I am like a crazed animal!! LOL. I am worse if I get more!! Hopefully we can be "good, close friends" with the same "wonderful problem!!"
