So who's going to be having fun out there at Pride Fest this weekend?  I'll be my first Pride in Chicago, and I'm totally psyched for my first big-city Pride! Anyone have recommendations of things to see and do while there?

After what went on on Orlando , my advice to you and everyone else attending would be to have fun but be EXTRA careful.

The fest is 18-19, and the parade is June 26th.

Friday and Saturday before the Pride Fest Parade, Phish is playing at Wrigley Field.

I can't wait! I've been waiting my entire Chicago existence for Phish Wrigley!

I'd like to think it will be a better vibe as Chicago is a more accepting atmosphere, but there are a lot of idiots, and nutballs in the world.  It's a great event.  Have fun.

I'm really interested to see the different between a southern city and a northern one, in terms of how accepting the atmosphere is.  
But yeah, I'm at least going to try to be more aware of whats going on around me. It's a scary, scary world.
