At last I know who the Chicago MOD is. The national administrator will sometimes refer us to you, but I never knew who to post to. What actually are your duties as the Chicago MOD? Are you able to help us update a providers profile. Do you have the authority to take down reviews that contain vicious and blatant lies that can be proven? And finally, just curious, but why is a person from Detroit, handling the Chicago board, or do you handle the entire midwest. I personally appreciate the time and effort you must put into this job. I can't help in anyway with reviews, that is the sole perview of the administrator. What I can do is moderate someone who becomes abusive in some manner, and I can allow someone the freedom to post in real time. If I recieve complaints about a thread I can review it and decide whether or not to pull it. In general my policy on the discussions is that just about anything you all want to talk about is a good thing. I will pull threads that become abusive and degenerate into name calling. As to Why someone from Michigan is MOD for this board, it is simple really. I have no vested interest in any of the local Chicago providers or agencies. I am not in the area, so there is nothing they can offer me in order to alter policies.
Your reason for moderating this board from out of town makes great sense.

Mods need lovin too ! That is smart to keep to yourself, makes everything much more natural I can imagine.
