Question for all Hobby Vets

I was thinking about attending my 1st ever Hobby Meet & Greet, I've been hobbying for about a year and a half now, so I'm definitely not a newbie, this question probably should have gone on the newbie FAQ Board , but I'm hoping to get as much feedback as possible, especially from all the Hobby Vets.  The main reason I'm thinking about going to my 1st ever M&G is because one of my ATF's is going to be there (which is probably not that great of a reason to go), I'm going to be in the city which is hosting the M&G for work, so I'm thinking, what the Hell, might as well just go, and lastly, I'm sorta just curious.  Below are a few questions I was hoping to get feedback on, I really appreciate everyone's help and thanks in advance!

To get more accurate answers, the M&G I was thinking about attending is going to be in the big apple...

1) What is the typical male/female or Hobbyist/Provider ratio? I'm thinking at least 3:1, which would mean when the M&G is in full swing, a good portion of the hobbyist's are just sitting on the sidelines in the corner waiting for their chance to jump in, while most of the Providers are chatting it up one-on-one for 20 minutes with other Hobbyist's? Thoughts???
2) What is the average age of the Hobbyist's that typically attend? I'm in my mid 20's, so just curious if I might be a little out of place and if most of the Hobbyist's that attend are usually in their 30's or 40's? So when I am on the sidelines, chatting it up with other hobbyist's I know what to expect.
3) Would it be awkward going by myself and not really knowing anyone else?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Jgelement...
Regarding the ones I've had over the years...

1)
The ones I've held typically come close to a 3:2 ratio, men to women.
On paper with RSVPs I try for 50/50, but it never seems to work out that way :(
Some people are way more outgoing than others, but most conversation is casual so joining in a conversation is quite easy. No real need to "wait your chance".... but one on one certainly occurs.

2)
Most Hobbyists seem to be late 30s and beyond, but there are a few younger ones that have attended and still do..

3)
Nothing awkward going by yourself. That's usually the case for Hobbyists, although a few seem to meet up nearby and come in together or just by chance meet up walking into the location....
