I was considering visiting Chicago, but I have definitely heard LE are highly aggressive.  Plus I believe the state of Illinois has crowned prostitution as a felony (not sure of how accurate that is).   What seems to be the safer areas for a incall?? Are there any other sites to stay away from besides bp?

Thanks!!

...unless it's your second conviction. I've heard others spreading this misinformation and folks need to get their facts straight. prostitution is a Class A misdemeanor.

You can be charged with a felony if-

~You are keeping a house of prostitution

~You are charged with prostitution withing 1000 feet of a school

~You are "soliciting for" or arranging appointments for others

Nearly all enforcement lately has been off BP (or on street-level). Everybody should stay off that site.

I might be wrong on this.  but i think few of the escort services are controlled by the Mob in chicago area.   and few of them are not bothered by the cops.   Cops just leave them alone.   This is just a gut feeling.

But the end demand folks, in their infinite wisdom, have succeeded in making "patronizing a prostitute" a felony in Illinois. Apparently not a law that is often enforced, because it seems to require proof that things were actually consummated, which is not easy to get in a normal bust where they get you on intent. But they did use is against that city councilman in Peoria. Google and enjoy.

My guess is that the reason they used it was to get him to plead and resign from office, and the only reason they were able to even make the charge is because the girl had a probation violation which they used to turn her.

But I am no lawyer.

Well, by definition the cops are suppose to be "peace keepers";  So it is a possibility..

Nothing personal but I am all for cops leaving people alone who dont stir things up. :)
