I am in a bind so I thought I'd ask for your opinion about what to do when providers ask for references. I often meet with a terrific provider who retired a while back, but is now UTR, so I can't use her as a reference (I even asked her but she said there is no way she could). Two other providers I frequented have also retired. I also have used a local agency a few times (who verified me their own way a while back) but they dont give out references either (not sure how common this is, but that is what I was told). Now I want some variety so I am trying to schedule with other independent providers, but seems like everyone wants 2 references of other independents, and turn me away when I cant give this info. Seems like I have to start all over from scratch. What to do?? rs2k is one option I suppose. Any other ideas or know of providers that would be willing to verify w/o references and what info would be required???  Thanks in advance!!
