I use to be on RS2K about ten years ago. I'm trying to renew my membership. I did this last week and haven't heard back from them. I emailed them on Wednesday and haven't gotten a response. I'm guessing that RS2K is still around since I see providers using the service. Anyone else having any problems with RS2K?
Had exactly same experience about 2 years ago. Early this year I tried once more and did get a response.
I provided my information but was informed there was no record of my membership. I was requested to sign up under the new system.
I am still debating if I want to do so.
There are some threads going back a couple of years that may have some information you're looking for. Type RS2K in the search window and you'll find plenty to read. It seems that the new owners can't find member's information or simply not honoring the lifetime memberships many, many, many of us signed up for over the years. I haven't used the service since before the Covid lockdown so I don't have any recent experience dealing with them.
About two years ago, there was a provider that I wanted to see who insisted on two years of RS2K membership, which I had. But, when she tried to confirm my membership through RS2K, she was told that I was not a member.
I dug up the most recent renewal confirmation email that I had received, which also showed my original registration date (two years prior), as well as the renewal period. I sent it to RS2K as proof. They said that they had no record of my membership in their system and that they could not honor the email.
I asked whether, given the letter I had provided, if I re-registered, would they would back date my membership to my original start date as stated in my renewal email, so that I could see the provider.
The answer was, no. And the provider was no more sympathetic.
