I would like to know if any of you mongers would like to help me out.  Since Lemont is doing a fine job doing research for us all, i would like to try to make things a little difficult for the jack shacks to advertise on BP. if enough of us flag ads as spam, they should start taking the ads down. once the cost starts running up for them, maybe they will stop trying to take advantage of everyone and leave room for real providers. Anyone interested or am i just whistling Dixie?

Is any ad real anymore on backpage? As far as I know - most people don't really use it all that much. And I think digging through to find all of the jack shack ads could be pretty time consuming. Why don't you just look at TER ads if you want to ensure you don't end up at a jackshack?

Since that is pretty time consuming, I would suggest just moving on from their ads to something else.

it will be an endless battle, and you have to pick the battles you fight. A scam artist doesn't stop, they just go at their plan from a different angle.

I would love nothing more than to help out but I believe there is a market for everyone. BP just isn't your "cup of tea" anymore, you've grown up & thats ok. BP's clients no longer include us anymore and thats ok too.  

to constantly flag. Plus BP doesnt have to take them down as it is revenue for them. I used to get pissed and flag them. Now I just overlook. I know which ones they are!  

There are a lot of gals that are good on backpage, me included. In fact I have a following of my ads they are known to to be a quip that is quirky or funny. Once I point out my ads on here many from here and from the meet and greets follow my ads. This week I played the Katie Couric look a like because everyone says I look like her since I had my professional pics done. (if you want to see just email me at [email protected]) But please don't put back page down ....
