On Monday I am going to meet with a trainer for the first time. And I am just wondering, what do you prefer as a body style on a woman? I personally prefer slender and toned, with everything in proportion.  

But fellas tell me. Do you like muscles? A little bit of meat? Slender?  

I'd love to know, and I plan to cater what I tell my new trainer, depending on the responses I get!

Sculpting a body takes mass determination, a decent amount of time, and most importantly genetics.  I can look at a bench press and my chest grows but to engage my glutes/legs it takes deep squats and hill running.  Be patient, good luck, and it's not about what anybody else wants it's about what makes you feel like a star!

my own taste I like to vary between muscular to meaty.

Slender, curvy and womanly ( kinda like you, as it turns out)  No hard bodies for me. Don't like obvious muscles

you have a great petite frame that looks great!

I like curvy women. You can still be athletic and curvy. My preference is hips at least 8 inches larger than waist.

Soft and curvy, tall and leggy, petite, slender and toned....I can find something to love about almost any body style, as long as she's fit.  But if I had to answer in a "who would you want on a desert island" scenario I'd have to say slender, shapely,  firm legs with well defined thighs and calves, hard round little ass, tight flat belly, and perfect handful breasts.  Not that I'm particular or anything.

There's something special about every Damn one of you,  so I like a variety of styles. But if self improvement is the name of the game I'm particularly find of women who look like they can kick my ass. Not benchpress a guy muscles, but toned.

To those who answered seriously, thank you! I am taking it into consideration, and definitely thinking I am going for toned. Because I already have a petite frame.

Your goal needs to reflect your body type and be something that you can maintain, both in terms of the hours you're able to commit to working out and your ability to stick to a nutritional plan.  If your goal isn't supported by what you're realistically able to commit to, you're setting yourself up for failure.  

So be realistic and go for it.  Good luck!

I am not sure why you responded with  question mark.  I looked at your pictures and masturbated ... that is a compliment.  Believe me I am not the first or last to do this.

Thanks so much NDIB and Fat Elvis. I am definitely going for something that is attainable, which is why I am getting a trainer. I already do workout at home and whenever I can at a gym in a hotel. But I need that extra oomph. Because I am not over weight, it takes me a lot more work - or so it seems -  to make a change. I have already been doing a pilates dvd and a cardio dvd at home. And I just am not motivated enough by that. I feel like, if I know that I am paying every month for this gym membership that it will motivate me into getting my ass in there. I was supposed to be getting a treadmill from Christmas, but with the weather the way it is, it is hard for my dad to bring it to me. So once I have the treadmill at home, and a gym and a trainer I know that I wont have any excuse what so ever.  

I really appreciate everyone's comments and words of encouragement! My motto is even the greatest people have room to get better. :)  

Oh and if any ladies are in my area and want to be my workout buddy, shoot me a pm!!! I love working out with someone else!! :)

Much harder to blow off the gym if you're meeting someone there. And for running, think about signing up for a race. Really helped me focus and be disciplined about getting my miles in.
