I felt after her terrible attack it would be best if she had some recovery time. Also, since it was an advertisment for a pay site I felt it was spam.

I can't really afford it right now, but I plan to see her to celebrate her return. I wish her happiness and freedom from scurrilous attacks that seem to have a life of their own perpetuated by mean, spiteful, individuals.

As a true friend of Vanessa do you not think that she has been through enough already?

She was/is sick, is getting the proper help & is getting better every day.

I say let's stand behind her & not kick her in it.

This subject has been played to death. Its time for everyone to move forward. She still has friends regardless of what happened

She's been pretty busy lately.  Lets see, a $400 an hour escort and her sister, through her Yahoo group, took advantage of the murder of Cheryl by faking an attack on herself (for the second time) and then set up a P.O. box so people who trusted her and called her friend, could send her donations to help with her "recovery".  You're right, let's give her a break.

I hope all the white knights that are looking for special treatment from her will have the same attitude the next time a provider posts about a client coming up short on cash at an appointment or runs out of the room after a session with the donation envelope.  After all, a person who would do something like that is sick and needs help.  They're not some common thief looking to take advantage of anyone.  The provider who got ripped off shouldn't be allowed to complain either.  In fact, that provider should be required to give that client as many free sessions as he wants until he feels wanted and loved.

Finally, you shills can save your pompous, self-serving lectures about forgiveness and "moving on with our lives".  Save that bullshit for Vanessa Sue the next time you're paying full price for her services.  Try asking if she'll apply the donation you sent for her recovery to your next session.  I'm sure she won't be laughing at you behind your back after you ask her.

Don't put her friends down because they want to see her recover...that's all I want. You sir are very good about that though I happen to think you are a bit slow, dense, etc. I am glad you've spent your last on these fine lady's, but it is you that is the biggest problem on these boards. El, in my opinion you should wait long after she returns to optimal health. Rushing to celebrate her return will give her the wrong message that what she did was okay. I plan to never see her again. I was already to send her some money when I caught wind of the real scoop on these boards.

BTW, I didn't take his white knight/black knight comment as being bigoted, just as a way to try and express something. Perhaps it could have been said differently, but it still didn't seem to border on being a bigot to me.

Everbody's got one. I didn't mean to suggest he should not have an opinion, but it was he that tryed to shut down Mr. Hardcase with his not so subtle implications that he was 'black' so he shouldn't worry about VS because she would be reluctant to see him. I found his strand funny at best, but troubling because the guy is right, he doesn't have to forgive and forget, even if he has never seen VS, his opinion really spoke to the fact that what she was doing was going far and away to take advantage of the hobbyist community. IMHO, the best way to tell a provider that she is full of it is to vote with your wallet, not words, nor threats.

P.S. His stab at Mr. Hardcase was definitely about race. Ask him.

Its wonderful that her friends want to come to her defense, but potential future clients doing research should be able to see what has happened before they make decisions.  I really don't know what she has been through, but I do know that what she has done has altered the plans of many visiting providers as well as the locals.  It sullied the reputation of Chicago men and put fear into ladies.  Many ladies and men have at least temporarily left the hobby.  It calls into question everything she has ever posted as well as her personal character and regard for everyone but herself.  Many who felt they knew and trusted her have felt betrayed.  Others who feel they know her now rush to her defense. If she was under terrible duress as reported it seems curious to me that she now has the time and energy to surf and post on the boards.

Thanks Snowblind. This newbie is just trying to stir up trouble and doesn't even know me or my past posts. Sometimes people get carried away with their thoughts as he did here and read his own thoughts into words that had no similar meaning at all. Hardcase is a good guy as I alluded to by saying I wasn't trying to cause him grief. Then this guy thinks I am racially insulting Hardcase...I have no clue as to what Hardcase's color even is...nor would I insult someone I didn't like in that way. Your post is very accurate and all the info supplied seems to be factual. I recently saw Vee and I can tell you...she is under duress. I don't think she would even attempt to post on the boards if she didn't need to make a living. Providers leaving is of course the worst part of the whole mess, and I understand exactly what you are saying. Thanks for posting a civilized message, my only concern for Vee is her well being now...her mental well being. I am not trying to justify anything that has happened. She is in a bad way, I saw her with my own eyes. The sooner people get past this...the better chance she has to recover.

I have seen no remorse yet from VanessaSue, which would then warrant forgiveness. Perhaps after some therapy sessions she can bring herself to express her regrets and apologize. People got hurt and those very people were her friends. I'm very close to Laney Micheals and she went through hell over all of this. Laney took the betrayal of a friend very hard. Is it a coincidence that the stress, sleepless night, etc., has culminating in Laney becoming ill this week. She hasn't worked anywhere near as much as she needed to, but Vanessa was back to business as usual with days. I'm not ready to forgive but I'm ready for all these posts to finally end.

Agree with you 100%. And she was having sessions within days of the incident. Lots of men to see because virtually all the other women weren't booking for days, retiring, seeing only regulars, cancelled visits, etc. Heck, she was the only one really working. Beyond the hurt of betrayal, her friends suffered businesswise. So, to all those guys who want to see her or make a donation, see one of her ex-friends. They are the ones who are in need of help. Hate to think that her provider friends have a few less gifts under their x-mas trees or payment of essential bills will have to wait. This is a business of trust and it's over when it's gone. This isn't the first time she has done this. So to those who want to rush back and see her, it might only be time before it happens again. She is basically a sweet girl but she needs therapy more than clients. Best way to look at this is when a defendant is found guilty in court, we don't punish the victims of the crime.

I wasn't insulted by Sojourner's black knight comment.  I understood it as an inverse of my mention of white knights and didn't read any racial undertone into what he wrote.  I also think that Axxel and salivate have some great points and I echo there thoughts on this matter.  

As far as the number of times I modified my post ellobo69, in my haste to post I didn't proof read well (twice).  I feel that if I want to have my opinions taken seriously, I should present them in the correct way.  I've never made it to the National Grammar Rodeo, but I try to write as properly as possible.  Things like using hyphens properly and spelling out words instead of using single letter shortcuts are important to me.  I'm still working on how to start paragraphs correctly and how to not end sentences with prepositions.

If the people out there who are her friends are supporting her, that's great.  A friend should be there for another friend.  I'm just angry that these same people publicly lecture us on how to behave toward her.  Don't you dare tell us to leave her alone and let this drop just because she's under a lot of duress.  She put herself in this position; she has to accept the consequences.  I'll say this again, Vanessa Sue used the murder of Cheryl to try and defraud people in this community out of money!  She also managed to knock some of her competition out of the business thereby depriving the clients of the services of some fabulous companions.  Why in the world should she get a pass from us, just because she's a nice person?  Do nice people steal from clients and providers who have supported her throughout the years?  

We are being told to drop this by her "friends" just so SHE can get past this and get on with HER life.  Vanessa Sue is having a hard time recovering and making a living, well boo-frickin-hoo.  She's shown no remorse and she's never apologized to the people she tried to steal money from, or the providers whose lives were seriously affected by her fraudulent claim.  This was all her doing and it's not my responsibility to help her make it better.

As much as I'd like to totally agree with you, there is a point when the anger must stop and some understand begins. I'm not a board certified psychiatrist and could never even venture a guess as to what was going through Vanessa's mind then and now. All we know are the actions and the consequences. As for the reasons, I hope the professionals can uncover the root cause and that Vanessa fully cooperates with the process toward recovery and good mental health. We can't wish her any less. If her only concern right is herself, that's good. And if intense therapy is her way of saying I'm responsible for hurting others and must do something about it, then I can accept that as remorse. I don't need a long post from Vanessa asking the world for forgiveness, since I suspect she doesn't have the capacity to do that at this time.

What Vanessa Sue did was absolutely, unequivocally wrong! I'm surprised at all these men who defend her like she's the Queen of England. Instead of admitting that she's an unethical liar, thief and con artist, people have continually blamed it on a mental illness. What she did was horrific, and quite honestly I feel it had *very* little to do with being mentally ill. It had *everything* to do with Vanessa Sue being deceitful, conniving, manipulative and selfish. Her actions were despicable. Hardcase is correct in saying Vanessa's on scared the bejesus out of many, many providers. Asking for money on top of that was icing on the cake!


To those of her who pity Vanessa Sue, please pity her for being a liar who embarrassed herself by getting caught- nothing more. We *all* have to make a living. She's thirty years-old. By now, she should be WELL on her way to have an alternate plan if escorting doesn't work out each month. It doesn't give anyone the right to do what she did. Unfortunately, I'm guessing she feels little or no remorse about what she did, and guys, I would think ten times before I saw her or trusted her with *any* of my personal information. Her actions have shown that she cannot, under any circumstance, be trusted to be honest or ethical.

Thanks Hardcase for what you said in regards to my post, it is very much appreciated and underscores why I have always read your posts and thought you were a good guy. I will take what you and salivate and Interesting Woman said to heart and keep it in mind for the future. Believe me I want to understand all sides as best as I can and hopefully not fan flames along the way. I lost it earlier in this thread, but I will try to keep cool on the boards for the rest of my duration here. Thanks also to salivate for his understanding, he's a good guy too.

Interesting Woman I would like to mention one last thing though in regard to my own feelings toward Vanessa Sue as a friend. Every woman I have met in this hobby over the last couple years is someone I consider a dear friend, there are not a whole lot of them, but each is a friend to me. I would help any of them in need or bad times...my heart is in the right place. I feel bad about all the things that happened and I do not wish to gloss over anything and I am sorry if it appears that I did. I am not trying to become a favored client of anyone or belittle others to improve my position. Vanessa Sue needs help and is getting it, I am only supporting her as a friend. I like your spunk. If not, forgive the assumption. Thanks for a very sober reminder about the difference between ethics and credibility. I don't know the aforementioned provider, but I am happy that there is at least one with the moxie to say it straight and who obviously has an equal mixture of both characteristics.

Does she really have a twin sister?  Did she involve her family in this scheme or did she do it all on her own?

It's too bad this happened.  She was at the top of my list of those I wanted to see.  Trust is extremely important and I don't think I want to see someone who may be mentally unstable.  It's just too big of a risk.  In my younger days, it may not have mattered much, but I'm no longer looking for THAT kind of excitement.
