My childhood friend is a flight attendant and she was saying the same things.  This idiot caused all these thousands of people all over the world so much trouble today.  For what?  Because he has problems?  I understand that mental illness or whatever else contributes to these actions is a serious problem and yes I empathize.  HOWEVER, when your actions cause problems for thousands of other people around the world, you are not getting sympathy from us.  You are just an AH

We had a Black Tie event to go to tonight in Dallas. American, I don't blame them, can't get us on a flight until tomorrow. After five hours finally got our bag, and went home.

Always take Midway if the planes there will get you where you need to go.  Smaller, better run, better food, better treatment = better experience.

I feel for ya, I got stuck in Minneapolis, and had scheduled the first flight out.  At first no one knew anything and then at 7:30 they cancelled the flight, stood in line 2 1/2 to rebook and then it was suppose to be today at 4. Yikes so then I had to go get my luggage, that took another 40 minutes and then I did then next best thing.  rented a car and got home last night, tired but at least in my own bed.
