To Square or not to Square

Saw a BP provider the other day who advertised as accepting square. I was already settled in for the night and didn't feel like running out to the ATM. During our talk, she said she really didn't like using it and we went back and forth a bit about it. One of my cardinal rules is :DON'T PISS OFF THE PROVIDER ! But this time I stuck to my guns. The session was ok but the next day she texted me and said that, because she hasn't completed the necessary tax forms, that square wouldn't pay her.

I checked with my card issuer and it was legit but still a pain in the ass. After reconciling the issue, I made a silent vow to never deal with cc's again.

I'm aware of the agencies taking cards and I know of the various pros and cons with them being accepted/used (legal, rip-off, etc). But I feel like square could be a useful tool (heh heh) in the future.

Don't need the headaches that are sure to come with any of form of payment!

Happy Monday to ALL!

Cash. Cash. Cash.

Maybe a green dot moneypak card if I know you.

But cash

I just don't like the idea of bank transfers for these types of transactions.

illegal bank transfers. Yikes.

Cash Only!  Maybe except for some long time clients maybe pre-paid visa reload cards I will accept, but you have to load those with cash too!
