I had it happen this morning and yes, it is irritating. And when it is last minute, it is difficult to get someone else to take that spot because no one is necessarily in the area at that time frame. Many providers do charge cancellation fees but I don't but I am thinking of starting that.
...since last time mentioning this I was attacked. Only Kimmy Kay had 4 cancellations last Friday
I always reimburse our clients out of my pocket when we cancel and it's not even my fault. So I consider myself entitled to say : 6 cancellations in one day as well as 15 min cancellation before the scheduled time, which was 11am is too much to handle.
I am so sorry to hear of your troubles, hun. That is ridiculous. I am independent and do my own screening process thru my website as well as background searches. One week there was one potential client that has three assaults on his record that I said no to. I'm willing to help anyone set themselves up as Independents and get their computer skills up so they can handle searches/verifying on gentlemen and protecting themselves. We need to help each other stay safe.
