I have a little wish to ask of the ladies that work in and around Chicago, not through an agency.  (just venting a little too at the moment)....  

When a caller dials you up, and you agree to make an appointment with him, PLEASE do not completely ignore the caller when he reaches your area and wants to get the specific location!  I can't beg you enough.

I've personally seen this increasing lately, and for me it is getting to me.  I love this hobby when things go as they should, but lately it has been about a 50% (maybe less) success rate just getting a new (to me) provider to answer the phone once I reach the area. I understand that things can come up, you may be running late or may not be able to make the appointment at all, maybe you just don't want to see the caller - but please just be straight with him.  Let him know you will not be seeing him rather than sending him on a drive for nothing.  

For me, a roundtrip to the normal hotspots is 2.5-3hrs of driving, not to mention tolls and fuel.  When I make the trip and 50% of the time, the provider will not respond, it gets very frustrating.  Each time it happens it is burning me out a little more.  I hope that it slows down soon, I don't know how many more times I can tolerate it.

I am surprised that you indicate that this happening 50% of the time?  Ladies say business is slower than usual and, as such, one would think that they would not leave a potential client hanging, much less have the client drive out to see them, only to have to turn around.

Its not a good business practice in any economy.

I had a ncns happen only once.  I wanted to out her name, but I am glad I didn't.  Learned that she and her friend went out and got lost (they were from out of town).  Things happen, but as you said, a call is appreciated.  I feel for you as a 50 percent ratio is very high.  I had it only happen once.  Don't give up.  Are you using Craigslist and Backpage?  I would go with RS2K.

But 50% is quite disappointing.  In defense of providers, things come up, like with everyone else, but a no call is not good for sure.  I agree with you completely, if a provider does not want to see me, please just let me know.  

Saying you're available and making an appmt is one thing, executing on this is another, as you got burned on it seems.  Good news is that they're a ton of great choices in this area, and if business is too good for some to blow you off, try others.

This is the classic response when she thinks you might be LE. Once that thought enters her head, there's no way she's calling you back. Given the state of things lately, this isn't surprising. Or, if she does last minute appointments, you might have been bumped.

You might try limiting your playing radius so you don't waste a lot of time. Unless you're absolutely sure she's reliable, don't go out of your way to see her.

Is there more to the story than you are disclosing?  I, personally, wouldn't do such a thing unless I was informed by someone that all is not well (even after background checks including RS2K as well as a former provider' ref).

Maybe you are doing something sketchy?  I dunno the sitch but I know our girls on Eros and Cityvibe are Kosher.  If you are doing BP and CL, then there is your answer

50% is a bit too much and if you were searching through CL and BP, then there is your answer. There are so many ladies here on TER and if you do your homework, I am sure that 50% will drop drastically.
