My understanding is that it's one of two issues:

1) A serious violation of TER policies and/or an action that is a danger to the hobby

2) The provider asks to be delisted

Of course, there can also be something like: a provider was previously delisted, started a new profile, and then it was found out that she's a delisted provider.

So what exactly causes a provider to be delisted? I'm curious because a provider I just saw, and submitted a review for is apparently "delisted.". Just trying to learn more about what this means, thanks.

I saw on provider who asked that she be delisted from TER. The reason why was because after I saw her she did not live up to the expectations that she said she would. With her being delisted, a client can't put in a bad review of the provider. So that other clients can't steer away from a bad provider
