Is start now.  Contact your top pick, get screened and pick a back up and get screened.  Schedule with your top pick and confirm a week before and then day before or day of as she asks.  If something comes up, you have been screened by your backup already so set a time with her in that case.  GL, Sage

Personally it is never to early to start your scheduling so you don't miss out on what you want

I agree with Sage.  Many providers have also told me that it's never to early to make contact.

When I'm traveling out of town on business or pleasure, I always plan ahead and contact the provider that I wish to see as soon as my schedule is set ...usually 2-3 weeks before my visit.  I don't use agencies too often, but getting prescreened by a well respected agency is also a good backup plan, especially if you have a crazy schedule and wish to see a provider on short notice.
