Hello:

Because of my personal situation, I am looking into gift cards as a form of payment. Do many girls accept them? I would think that they would be useful to many girls, as you don't have the headache of a credit card or the inconvenience of hauling around/depositing wads of cash.

I am hoping to set something up this weekend, so if anyone feels comfortable with this, please fe3el free to reply or send me a message here.

Thanks,

Glaze

gift cards are risky at best..i had one of my ATF's accept a $500 card as payment for a session..turns out he never loaded it..it took her 3 days of hassle to have him finally pay up and only after threatening to Blacklist him..i have no idea how the ladies feel about this form of payment..but she will NEVER accept them regardless of the client..i am sure the ladies have their own preferences as to payment..but as always..Cash is King and rightfully so..

.. but understandably so, I am sure some girls would be wary of receiving a gift card from a gent on the first meeting. If you go this route, the lady might want to make sure there is the correct gift amount on the card before right your engagement to be sure. Unfortunately, there are creeps who maliciously take advantage of this method. I do hope it works out for you though!

I would be happy to present a receipt as proof. Obviously, a woman is not going to be able to give her best effort if she is worried about the client trying to scam her.

What is your situation that you speak of?
Most gift certs are bought with cash, but giving cash to the companions you see is not an option?
Whatever you wind up giving you will HAVE to gift with the receipt, to prove the card and amount match up.

You could go and purchase Money Pak cards, and bring them with the receipt.
that would be preferred, as it is the same as cash. Many ladies accept Money Pak as deposits.

Also something I got turned onto recently (turned on, tee hee!) is GIFT ROCKET.
also same as cash, but the gift cert is emailed, and the received chooses what form of tender (credit card, paypal, cash) they want to receive it in...and can use it as a gift certificate to a specific place or however they see fit

All we usually do is check to be sure the amount specified is on card before providing services.  Give us a call!

you can get one at Walmart and put up to $1,000 cash on it. When you get to the date, have her load it onto a reloadable card or into her paypal account while you're there so you both know it went through. She can't say later, "there wasn't anything on it" while she loaded it and lied, nor can you say, "but I loaded it."

It's a nice option. I'd love if a guy did that. I wouldn't have to carry a wad of cash around or deposit it into a bank like that.

See MacDaddy's post above, he basically said the same thing.

Not that I endorse prepayments or deposits, but a gift card would be better used as a deposit where she has time to verify there are actually funds on the card before the appointment. It's too late once he's in the door and I also know someone who got ripped off with a gift card from a client she'd been seeing for more than a year.

I was under the impression that you can't receive more than $500/mo on a GD account. Has the limit been raised? The cards I buy at local drug stores limit the cash value to $500.

The other concern is using paypal for this business. They track funds and large transactions would probably get flagged. There's another post here where some providers have lost everything in their paypal accounts after the accounts got frozen.

If you're starting out with GD, it's best to stick with GD.

For a few reasons, I don't like getting cash back on my credit card statement and prefer to take gift cards in $100 increments. So at least for me, having a gift card in-hand isn't absurd..... I have them all the time and have trouble spending them all. I have thought about asking if it's OK to use as a form of payment, but figured it's just not worth the hassle and that most would just prefer cash.

And, yes, there's lots of ways to scam with a gift card even if you check the balance right away before the session. I could have simply written down the card number for myself and bought something online shortly after the session.

In my opinion, they should only be used by clients and accepted by providers for established "regular" customers.

Even with the receipt he could use the gift card, empty the funds, and give it to you with a receipt saying it has the money.  What is the reason behind this? If you can pay for a gift card why can't you just select cash back when buying a pack of gum? Then you don't have to use an ATM. The whole concept of using a gift card to pay sounds completely absurd.

Wouldn't using green dot prior to appointment or gift cards at the appointment lessen LE risk? At least for the hobbyist?  If you have no cash, it's more difficult to prove you were trying to pay for services. Or am I wrong, which I commonly am?

Exchanging ANYTHING of value for sex is illegal. So in that context, gift cards won't protect you. Greendot is interesting though, especially if the funds were transferred long before the actual date. But the provider and hobbyist would need to have no money in the room if LE were to come in at the hotel's request. If they find anything of value in the room, the assumption can be made that it was payment for sex, even if it came from a previous client.

I've always wondered if LE came in and there was absolutely no money, gift cards, nor anything else of value in the room nor on either of us, how could they bust? Well, LE might still bust but the charges would probably be dropped without absolute proof that something of value was exchanged. The problem with this is your face gets plastered on LE web sites soon after a bust whether the charges stick or not. So even a bad bust still gets your face online and that's the worst part for most of us.

Why LE can put mugshots online before you're proven guilty is beyond me but they do it. It's that public shaming thing and it's a deterrent.

as in something extra rather than payment for a session.

I understand exactly what you're getting at about the extra cash back on the CC statement raising questions. It leaves a paper and electronic trail but if you take out a little with each transaction, it looks less suspicious over a long period of time. Doing this on the day of is as bad as doing a W/D from the ATM on the day of. It's much better to spread the transactions out over time .

I've lived in Chicago my whole life, (don't now, just travel,) and if you go to the Currency Exchange out there, many offer the "ICE card". It's really annoying to manage, but you can deposit $1,000 at a time. I put $1500 with two separate money packs on my card at once. There's a very high limit / month. I think like $10k if I'm not mistaken.

You can do a lot with it. I hate the damned thing because I have to keep calling to get it re-activated if anything weird pops up or if I put the wrong pin number in an ATM machine.

Anyway, skip the PayPal, but I at least know this one can take a huge chunk of change all at once.

If you get one from Walgreens, CVS, Walmart (which lets you load up to $1,000,) and others, then you can load a lot more/24 hours. You just have to juggle a little and it takes a tad more time.
