I like any classical music as long as one of the instruments played is a skin flute.

I have an unattractive burn mark on my hand that doesn't hurt anymore but sitting this weekend out to let it heal since it doesn't look very nice. So, needless to say, I'm bored out of my mind right now.

Anyway, I was just thinking about music during sessions. What does everyone like to hear? Or do you prefer no music?

I've heard everything from smooth jazz, hard rock, environmental sounds (like "sounds of the forest, etc.), and sometimes just a bunch of random pop songs on shuffle. Other times, there is no music. But I've found that in each case, whether or not I liked the music playing during the session depended on who I was with. Someone I see occasionally when she's in town never plays music and I like it with her. But sometimes with other providers, I would miss the background music.

What you y'all think of this? Always music? Never? Only a certain kind? Or dependent on who you're with?

I find the age of the provider comes into play for me too. I wouldn't ask someone in their late 40s to play New Order or Depeche Mode (which is kind of odd, since they may have been listening to them back in the earl 80s). Although I would ask someone in their 20s to play those bands, even though they may not have even been alive when those bands first came out. Hmm.
