So I've been a member of RS2K for going on 8 years now. I've found them handy and helpful and well worth my membership. They've kept changing the site over time and while I didn't always care for new looks, I knew it was a part of advertising life. But today, I've found the site finally made the leap to "User UNfriendly".
Here goes...
I click in my "favorites" box for the listing to RS2K... I get the site's "introductory page" and click "enter" (why this page even exists is beyond me because the very next page covers everything on the introduction and then some). So in the 2nd page I choose my location... "illinois". I now wait a while for the third page to load because I'm still using a dial-up and when it finally loads I see they've replaced the visiting providers listings with a new link.
Now at this point any normal human being (which I consider myself to be) would think this link takes you directly to the listings of providers visiting Illinois since that's the page you've already selected.... NO... you click the link and it takes you all over to the beginning introductory page??!!!! So I hit enter... select Illinois and finally get to see the 20 individual listings you could previously find in the state listing.
WHAT A JOKE!!! Surf through 6 different webpages to see a measly 20 listings???!!!
If I'm a visiting provider, I surely wouldn't pay money to have my advertisement be so damn much of a hassle for a client to find! Not very good marketing strategy Cathy.
While I love to grab and pull you into the 21st century, I can't completely extoll the virtures of DSL other than I spend less time searching for what I already pay too much for, but that is another story. I am not sold on RS2K and it's really not that popular across the country and some providers have never heard of it. In Chicago, it's great, but if you go about things the right way, very few turn you down and I've had no traveling ladies do it in my 3+ years in the hobby... but then again I don't do last minute... The quandary you are in over the functionality of the 'Favorites' feature just doesn't work... period. There was some chatter on the national board about it recently I think... or maybe it was Chicago... same story as you...

You'd think going to Illinois would get you to Chicago but you have to hit the Chicago banner on the roomservice2000.com home page
They are making that site way to difficult to navigate
That site certainly is not user friendly. Even once you are in the local section, navigation is awkward and cumbersome. It has to load a gazillion and two thumbnails on the left side (take a while). It seems those thumbs are everything instead of just what I want.
Below is a site that I like. It is very easy to use and is doing those things Eros does not... sift out rip offs. I just wish it had more ladies in it though. If it did, then it'd be a very good.
