Just wondering if you all had any suggestions for same day appointments.  Sometimes I don’t know if I have time until I actually have it…if that makes sense.  Any tips of suggestions are appreciated.

I asked about short notice (even a day in advance) providers a while back and got no responses.  Hopefully someone responds this time around.

Providers are more expensive and less user friendly now, requiring deposits and no short notice.    I am not sure why things changed.  

I think agencies are your best bet for same day appointments.  I have had last minute cancellations with independent providers in the past and have turned to ECE and Elsa.  They usually come through for me.  Always have a Plan B!

Even the agencies are harder with respect to same day appointments. It would seem that more and more are booking in advance with the agencies making it harder for same day. I will say, I still do have luck with same day, but remember that same day doesn't mean "now," it means contacting in the morning for something later in the afternoon/evening.

As noted, ECE is really good and Alena Chicago also is great (once verified with both, of course).

Does Alena have age requirements. They never get back to me for screening. Im 30

I think what changed is providers are tired of reserving their time, preparing for a date & getting flaked on with no compensation. 🤔 If this was your business wouldn’t you want to make sure your time is accommodated?

For me personally, it changed when I became a full-time Mom. I never wanted to have my time wasted again, nor did I want to share my time with anyone who did not appreciate it. Paying for childcare & dog boarding to leave the house in hopes that this person is not 🥕 carrot dangling was a risk I was not willing to take. Same day bookings are extra because it’s last minute. Proper preparation prevents poor planning.  

If I had no kids & a private incall I would probably be more generous with my restrictions that apply today. Everyone is different. Keep in mind many providers have real jobs not affiliated with this fun hobby lifestyle. I am not a pizza delivery service.

I have the same problem sometimes - don’t know I’m going to have time until I do. The high end independent ladies really don’t like same day at all and get kind of mad about it, especially because there are a lot of guys who don’t communicate well and drag out screening etc. If I cannot schedule in advance then my solutions are
- agencies like ECE, Alena etc. Get verified in advance so you’re ready to go. (Lots of people having issues with Alena, I know)
- I have three or four Asian providers on rotation out by O’Hare. Daisy, Richie etc. they are super accommodating, especially if you know them
- I have a couple of hot UTR providers close by. Takes a while to build trust but that’s been a good option for me.

I'm pretty flexible when I'm in town touring (like I am now). I'm generally free most days from noon -10pm. I just ask that you give me a few hours notice not like super last minute (4hr minimum heads up is appreciated tho
