New here, seen lots of talk about HB 6195 (now dead or changing dramatically right?) but what is the overall LE risk level, assuming you're doing your research, using recently reviewed folks from here and generally not doing anything too stupid? I'm sure there's always risk, but how real is it? For Chicago, and why do providers like the O'Hare area, seems to be a big spot for this. Also, what's the worst that can happen?
Worst that can happen?
Lose your relationship/marriage, public embarrassment due to public record... Even if you are not busted, there is always the risk of STDs if there is an exchange of bodily fluids.
Do your homework and while it may seem noble to take one for the team, don't - if you have too much to lose.
I've told clients that if she doesn't ask for verification (Roomservice, date-check..) then do not go there.
Of course then the argument is "How do I know she even checked?", good question and glad you asked. It's a pain in my arse to send 2 verifications at times and Cathy is not fond me of misspelling or getting a phone number wrong; but to double check that the provider is checking you out just put the wrong city or the wrong #. Cathy will tell any provider "He's not verifiable" and the provider will contact you back and state this. If she doesn't then either she's careless OR she's not really checking ![]()
I've had a client recently that was so paranoid I was freaking out the entire session (not fun). Please for the love of g-d calm down! Providers have had this against us since day 1, we get your concern (glad a few of you finally have some now). Please don't spend 1.5 hours of your 2 hour session interrogating me and nervously twitching. If you can't trust me just don't book, please?
Now people have asked why I didn't advertise on RS2K (because as we know if a girl doesn't show up often or gets into trouble she's tossed), when I came out from utr I did what was marketable. Which is why I chose ero's and paid for verification. People don't check rs2k *unless they are from here* they check ero's guide. Advertising isn't cheap and I did what was right. However that being said, keep it in mind a lot of starting out providers don't have a lot of money or aren't too sure of their staying power so they may not want to invest 100-400 bucks in verification, website, phone and ads. Now if she's been around for awhile and there's no phone, no website and no ads be suspicious. The review aspect, well honestly they are a catch 22 for us ladies. Damned if we do and damned if we don't.
I would never ever do an incall at O'hare, or any burb period. I don't do hotel rooms. Here's the one thing to keep in mind about why some known providers go out to Ohare. They advertise on Ero's, people fly into chicago for conventions, the men stay near the airport. It's easier for the guys to travel etc and if they are out at Ohare and not in the city then why choose a provider that's downtown when one is 3 hotels down the street? As far as why police choose certain counties, well it has to do with funding and staff.
With anything use common sense but if you're too paranoid please just stop hobbying. I even see other men share this sentiment too. Yes it's risky, always has been this is Cook County! For shits sake this is America and unless you're in legalized brothels then you are going to have to assume some risk. The paranoia of some clients is out of control and to the point that it ruins a session for me, this is working against them in several ways.
I like your suggestion about giving partially incorrect verification information as a way to verify that a provider actually checked. But if everyone started doing that, I don't think Cathy would be too happy with all the added headaches and extra back and forth involved. I'd caution anyone thinking about doing that to only use the tactic when they're not so sure about a provider's intentions or handling of your RS2K information. I'd imagine that if a gent wanted to know whether a provider contacted Cathy for verification, he could always call or email Cathy and ask if said provider contacted her about him. That tactic would probably be better received better by Cathy.
I agree with you. I wasn't suggesting people should really do it, I've had people do it to me to see if I did check. It's few and far in between though. I mean it's kind of one of those "no reviews, new on the scene...no words about her" type of special circumstances I could see it being "ok" to a point. As a provider getting a review cuts down on that happening to the point to upsetting Cathy.
Trust me she's not a fan of it. But hey I pay monthly to verify and if a brand new person who's scared crapless who wants a long visit does this to feel more at ease (and won't spend hours interrogating me!) then I'll happily deal with it once. And I will apologize (as I always have, even when I was off by digit or misspelled a name). Apologies for wasting her time go a long long way.
I'm just going off of what I went through the other night, it was really off putting and scared me. Nothing soothed him and I felt drained and at one point he even asked to see my ID. I have an incall that's stable and you are literally coming to something that's not a hotel nor my home but yet my incall. It's rather obvious I'm legit. To inspect everything in it (opening doors, looking around corners..jumping at every sound) began to freak me out. I was starting to think he was LE that slipped through the cracks OR was going to kill me. Guys, being this paranoid isn't going to give you a great session.
Honestly there are easy spotters (as I call em') in ads. Even as a provider I can tell, but I'm thinking with the big head here.
Things to steer away from: PLEASE JUST USE COMMON SENSE NOT PARANOIA. I'm only stating these things to be helpful.
For gods sake do NOT use backpage if you have other resources. If you do, look for names you know with the SAME writing and contact information. I do use BP when I am sitting in my incall and bored or in the mood for a specific date.
again be an rs2k member!
Because LE do use busted providers to lure men in for a bit; so if she's on BP and they seized her laptop and she's saved her pw's then all they have to do is pay to reactive her ad 3-7.00 per day.
If all else fails call or use Rs2k, date-check, here, eros.
CL and BP are hot beds though, even for providers answering ads for sugar daddies and such. I mean how long can we all beat this dead horse?
Anytime I see photos followed with childish jibber and phone #'s with weird numbers and such between, I sense a pimp.
Google! Check the phone #. Check the email address.
Above and beyond again if you're too paranoid and begin asking really personal questions, just step out of the hobby. I don't go digging and prying (I don't take personal references) and I hope for the same discretion. We too (providers) have a lot to lose.
I wish one day we will be seen as equals because when providers are busted they post our addresses of our homes and such. What an awesome thing for nosy neighbors and stalker clients. I wonder if the press would be liable if these women were murdered because a client catches her home address? Or how about the blackmail some clients do (oh and they have and they do).
Do not rely completely on reviews either. Find either an ATF, a great agency (our city has a few that's been around forever), use only RS2K advertising girls or verifying agencies and girls OR do not play.
Being lazy, greedy, or thoughtless will get you killed and or jailed. That goes both ways.
to me as a hobbyist to check if a lady who claims to be RS2K, really is?
SO no need for giving wrong numbers. If you are really unsure if the girl checks with RS2K then ask Cathy.
