and I agree 100%. Many of the ladies have donated large sums of money, donated clothing and other items, and have volunteered their time and homes. Sage is one of the MOST generous-though I don't know how much she's raised, I'm sure that it's remarkable.

She's right, though-why do people need an incentive for them to "do good" and make a donation? Why do you expect the ladies to give you a special rate if you make a donation? If that's the case, then you might as well pay the lady her full rate, and let her make the donation!

JMHO...What I'm doing is donating $50 from every session to the Red Cross, and then, for every $50 a gent donates over that, they get to pick a "prize" out of a grab bag. The prizes include $25, $50 and $100 off, extra time, discounted doubles sessions and dinner dates, $300 4 hr. nap at the Sybaris, and free (yes, free) sessions. That provides incentive without necessarily giving a big "special". (I have bills to pay, too...including tuition due this week *sob, sob*).

Anyway, give providers a break, especially ladies like Sage, who are going above and beyond.

Donating to ANY charity isn't about what YOU get in return-feeling good about helping others should be enough.
