O.K., I understand that there are rip off artists (both men and women) in this world.  But when it happens to someone you know it just pisses you off.  Last week, a well reviewed provider who made her 1st visit to Chicago (and even attended the M&G) was shorted by a 1st time Chicago client.  After he left, she opened the envelope to find a $9 gratuity (four $1's and a $5).  He was RS2K registered and independently verified.  (His RS2K registration has been cancelled.)  

Personally, I always loved it when appointments would flow without being interrupted to count or verify a donation.  However, this serves as a cold reminder that there is no reason for either party to feel awkward about making sure everything is covered before the fun begins.

Not trying to be a White Knight here but this kinda shit impacts ALL of us!  If the dickhead who did this doesn't FIX this now, (with interest and service charges) you should be placed on a permanent DNS list and banned from this community forever imho.  

I advised the Provider that a pm contact or info sufficient to identify him should be posted on the Ladies Board.

That idiot has a lot of balls!!!  What if the lady had checked the envelope at the beginning of the visit?  What would his excuse have been then?

Patdown, please use all of your charm (High and Tight says you're the smoothest guy in the hobby!!!) to make sure this visiting lady doesn't give up on Chicago all together.

And hopefully Kelly and Kwasi will get this joker's name and make sure he never attends one of our get togethers.

We all know how H&T is prone to exaggerate!  But thanks anyway.  If she decides to return, it will be due to the quality guys of Chicago stepping up to the plate to convince her we're not all freaks, geeks, and rip-off artists.

Sure he exaggerates a little.  And he tells some corny jokes. But if he compliments you, consider it a real tribute.  And fearless he is as he is proving in his battle right now.

I'm sure you will be able to get that lady to return.  And you may not even have to use the Spitzer mask!

Unfortunately, this scam is what I watch for the most (obviously besides my general safety). It doesn’t happen often, in 16 months it hasn’t happened to me. A few of my friends who are providers have told me about it so I watch for sealed envelopes and most of the time take a minute to roughly count the money, I try to be discreet as I know it’s not romantic but I really don’t feel like being scammed by a new client especially while on a tour, it could demoralize me for the week. If I know a gentleman has several reviews on TER I tend to be more trusting.

who was VERY well known who told me of a guest who was a regular who like to pay with a cash donation sans envelope.  Needless to say that last time(like 4-5yrs ago) he saw her decided to try to pull one over on her, put a bunch of 1$ bills with a 20$ on the outside folded in half...

He forgot his glasses and tried to get them, however she had already noticed his trickery and said she would love to if he paid the remainder of his tab...  I am sure he had fun going back to the eye doctor because she never saw him again...

have the provider call me and I will personally see to it that she gets her money.  I have scheduled a lot of appointments in my time and every penny has been paid for every service ever provided and not always at time of service.  (although 99.9999% of the time it is paid at time of service.)

Not to pound my chest or anything but I have also gotten $ back for a few hobbiests and providers who have been swindled.  Sometimes the guy just needs a little positive motivation to get him going....LOL  (wink,wink)

It happened to me and I was upset with the girl but she said to me, you told me he was a good regular,(which he was)and I didn't think I had to.
Well, he booked for 2 hours and the girl worked pretty hard those 2 hours making him happy with the request he had.
When I called him he refused to answer the calls or return them until 4 am when nobody is on the phone.
Apologized but said, she wasn't worth what he was suppose to pay. well, he had it planned from the beginning because it was in an envelope, sealed.
I walked into his place of business asking for him and believe me she did get her money from him and he is black balled from RS.
On the other hand, this is the same old story and somany girls don't count the money upfront, because they feel funny about doing that, which makes no sense but hope this will be a lesson for those who don't count upfront.
Sometimes the best client can go bad and it happens more than you think.

This is ridiculous, things like this happen all the time. Nobody made this big a deal out of it when Jade Jadore stole my money without ever seeing me. Never give services before getting cash and never prepay.

Of course it can go both ways.  Being an asshole is an equal opportunity type of quality.  Now I'm not making any judgment on your situation.  I do not know the facts and I do not know you.  But I do know Jade and I won't believe that she did something like that unless I see further proof.

I would have to know someone pretty well or have great references on their trustworthiness before I would ever prepay.  Only prepaid once and it was with two very reputable providers.

it happens all the time doesn't mean that it should be tolerated. If either provider or hobbyist is left with a short end it should be reported here (with appropriate discretion - nice job patdown). Thats what these forums are for...information sharing...

Trust me, I am the victim of Jade's ripoff - to the tune of much more than one session.  Have from other trusted sources, I'm not only one & she has a pattern of this. And, I had seen her 4 times prior to that, then 4 NCNS or excuses, then ran away with way too much of my $. I've prepaid a number of other ladies with no problems, including one I'd never seen before. You just never know what will happen.  Know that I'm showing what a dufuss I was - VERY sorry I trusted her

Maybe there is a reason she is banned?? I've waited over a year to say anything, after nicely trying to get responses from her - .... I'm either incredibly stupid, or brave to not use an alias to admit this.

She has no f&*&ing excuse for taking $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $ of my cash when I purchased a multiple hour Package, but she only gave me 23% of what I paid for. You want to pay that back to me since you want to defend her???

She goes away, then comes back, with same name, and more guys get ripped off - that is her history.  It cant keep happening.  She is a Thief and a Rip-Off

Secondly... I told you(and others) in that 1st post that I am not defending her, nor am I saying your claims are false...go back and goddamn read/comprehend what I wrote. I've gone through similar problems(I've been around here a LOT longer than you) with others.

Whoever defends Jade or anyone else in these matters of he said/she said is always going to come up on the losing end. Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt. Never again.

1) - I read and understood your post just fine - I'll do it there too. Don't swear at me. By attacking me, you are, defacto, defending her
2) - You have no clue as to how long I've been around, don't assume you know my history or who I am. Because my reviews go only to '06 means only that I started writing them in '06
3) - If you are so righteous, why do you hide behind an alias?  Doesn't exactly show that you have strength, nor does it prove you have a history longer than I
4) - She has been praised as a Goddess for too long, just thought I'd set the record straight after listening to all the talk about her, and her reviews.  She is far from great. And it is not a one time thing - I have attempted nicely to communicate with her for over a year.  Not any more.
5) - Had a depressing talk with my broker today, so not in best of moods

Your 1st post that I could find on any board was Las Vegas on Dec 16,2005. I joined this site in April 2003 and have been posting ever since on many boards, but mainly this one.
3)Sojourner7 was my handle until very recently when I changed it. I am on a 1st name basis with several hobbyists and providers who could vouch for that. So you can take that crap about "hiding" and stick it.
Hiding from who...YOU? Don't make me laugh.
4)You had an experience with a provider, and you reported it, fine. After that you should take your own advice that you doled out on the Phoenix board back on 08-30-2006 and 'shut up if you have nothing good to say'...unless you're a hypocrite. Setting "the record straight" requires a collective opinion from a group, not just one pompous individual. I had a fabulous experience with that same provider(Jade) in the spring of 2005, a 10/10 experience in fact! Did I say YOUR experience was false? NO!! Hmmm...imagine that
5) Join the club!!! Most of us are hurting right now, and we could bitch and moan for days if we wanted to. You are not alone, just perhaps a bit self-centered and short-sighted.

ps...I'm happy to keep this argument alive as long as you want. I'm determined :-D

this gent needs to be outed on the provider board.  Guys like this cause those "awkward" moments when ladies have to open envelopes to ensure that they are not being shorted.  Most of us would love to trust all our clients... sadly, we cannot.

I have no problem with my donation being verified in the beginning, as it eliminates any doubts & or misunderstandings.

I also find that it does not break the mood for me whatsoever.

To rip off someone is just bad karma!

I totally agree.  I realize it's not the fantasy in our hobbiest heads, but it's a reality.  I'm a bit shy and tend to be nervous at first.  If she counts the donation, I actually relax a bit.  Now I know that she knows I'm not there to try to rip her off.

I also attended the recent M&G and none of the fine ladies that attended deserved this kind of scam.

I only hope that during the provider's first visit here the opportunity to meet many of the other fine gentleman of the area was had and that she did not leave with a bad impression of our city.

Some providers request that donations be placed in plain view where a quick visual scan can tell if something is not as it should be. Others may request that all sesions began with the client taking a shower which would allow the provider an opportunity to verify the donation before hand.

I would think that most hobbist would have no issues with either method and as for the scammer I say out the S O B via PM
