An established provider obliquely mentioned in a recent newsletter that she has reduced her donation. I wonder if this is a trend. Donations have seemed sky high to me for the last little while, or maybe I’m just old.

Is it on her website and on her ads? If it’s not then it’s just for those getting news letter which is a general marketing trick . Stores and restaurants use this type of marketing too if you sign up for their newsletter then you get special rates. So not a trend that hasn’t already been in use.

Newsletter just says change in rates. Change is on web site.

when the economy is on a downturn (higher inflation risk of lost jobs) and providers are seeing less people.   It will vary, but in talking to some of the other gents -  Seems like their discretionary funds are going towards meeting other needs.   Im taking a break, also  providers reach out to me  with "specials" (discounts) on sessions.

This is the 3rd  time I have seen this in 19 years.

Prices seem down a little.  Of course there were a lot of $1000+ rates that seemed more aspirational to me.
