My few years in the business has shown me that Chicago is more short-notice and last minute with regard to this business.  Don't take this the wrong way  as some guys do Pre-book but most tend to feel the mood strike and start dialing or reaching out to their Fav's. Most Chicago-ans are time poor and super busy.  I always hear, I had some time open up for me are you available in an hour?

My business is mostly massage and B2B and perhaps it is different with being Escort only.  I have a small group of massage only friends and it is the same for them also.  We joke and say, they get a hard-on and start dialing for relief.  I'm sure it has more to do with having some un-expectant time to themselves to squeeze a session in and play.

I've read on several boards from visiting ladies that they learn this is how the Chicago market tends to roll.

Look, I've been doing this a fair while. I live in Australia and I tour all around there, sometimes to new cities. I've also nearly completed a three month tour to the USA, a country I've never worked in before and which took some serious effort to research, get signed up and verified on your numerous sites, find out where to spend advertising monies, book flights, decide where to go etc etc. I don't want a badge for this I'm just making the point that this is not a book months in advance industry, we're not accountants!!
I took a punt on just about everywhere I went here. Some didn't pay off (LA and New York) and they were the most expensive hotels and advertising but some places have more than paid off and Chicago is one of them. I didn't have a single prebooking  here the first time I came in April, but I got good bookings from sites I can't name P.... And not E...
I'm glad I came. Book a cheap hotel on Priceline.com and just come.

But, if visiting Chicago is not on your "to-do" list and you haven't other reasons to come...then you probably are right to cancel.
The trouble is a lot of tours have cancelled lately which makes gentlemen nervous about pre-booking visitors.
We've always been known for having a healthy hobby here...that also means that more women have moved and travel here often.
What is it called?  Entry and exit economics?  How fitting

I am planning on visiting soon and plan to pre-book in advance and hopefully it all goes well during my visit.

Let me just say that I would love to accommodate touring ladies and pre-book.  Unfortunately, I have no idea what I will be doing a week or two from now.  I have to make plans just a day ahead because long-term it doesn't work out.

Some people ask for advice and then have a hard time taking it?

Oh yeah the website thing… That's my first site, I wanted to see it's value before shelling out for a domain and honey…they rarely look at or read it. I get contacted through here and the other site I'm on. Almost every appointment request results in my requesting information and/or answering question that are in bold print on my site.  I agree it could be better but trust me the 400 isn't for my web designing skills

This is mostly from my own observations and deduction, but A lot of women will post an ad saying they're coming, then decide whether or not to actually come based on the response they get from their ads. If they don't get enough of a response to make it worthwhile, they just follow up the ad saying their trip is canceled. Some guys complain about that but I don't have any problem with it.

It is very true that simply being here and available will get you business. I've been all over the country and Chicagoans tend to be quite a bit more frazzled and "last minute" than others. I have a hard time even making appointments because my job often requires me to be available when I'm not "on the clock". But when I find I have an evening free there's a good chance I'll be browsing this and a couple other sites.

It's freaked me out in the past. I swear, from the second you start advertising your visit until you've already checked into your incall, it'll be total crickets. Then out of nowhere, they come out of the woodwork and you'll be struggling just to keep up with the emails. It's nerve-wracking for sure (especially for those of us who are based in cities where pre-booking WAY in advance is the norm), but after a couple of visits you'll get into the groove. Chicago guys may be last minute bookers, but they kick incomprehensible amounts of ass as clients. Give it another shot sometime. It just takes a little leap of faith and some frugal planning.  

On a somewhat unrelated note (I personally haven't seen too many Chicago guys pull this...they usually end up following through), one of my pet peeves is the number of emails I get on a daily basis that say "Any plans to visit [Frog Balls, Arkansas/whatever obscure location the case may be]? I think you'd do well here. I for one would be interested in 90 minutes." I'll spare y'all the rant on that topic, but I think most of the ladies can empathize.

Chicago has major traffic issues (thanks Josephine for understanding this). So we book based on which of the sub-cities you're staying in. Downtown is incomprehensible for suburbanites and pretty much vice versa for the city dwellers. So if you're not clear exactly what part of this huge metro area you're staying or if you're not visiting multiple sub-cities, it can be difficult for us to book. Many of us are unwilling to drive for hours in traffic jams so if you stay in only one location, you're limiting yourself considerably.

Chicago is a huge metropolitan area. It's not enough to simply advertise that you'll be in Chicago. The first question we ask is which part of Chicago? We're talking 50 miles N-S and 30 miles E-W and the traffic to go across these large distances is almost impossible to justify during rush hours.

I've never heard of you before this post. I didn't happen to see your announcement that you were touring, but holy crap...If YOU can't garner interest, with those photos, hell is getting chilly. Put me on your list when you do visit - I'd be happy to welcome you. Crickets? Seriously? how?
